Joya deCerén考古学遺跡は、エルサルバドルで唯一の世界遺産であり、メソアメリカで唯一の遺跡です。 Joya deCerénは、7世紀にザポティタンの谷に位置していたマヤの村の1つでした。火山ロマカルデラを噴火し、場所は噴火イベントから火山灰で覆われていたので、地球の建造物や場所の遺物が保存されています。
Chalchuapaは、コパンの影響があった場所であり、テオティワカンとトルテックの影響もありました。それは、西暦100年から1200年頃に存在した重要で洗練されたマヤ人入植地の現場である一連の建造物で構成されています。その長い発展が古典的な地平線（250から900 d.C.）に対応する長い職業の後、Tazumalは決定的に西暦1200年頃に放棄されました。

Really a great tour of Joya de Ceren, Tazumal, and a nice lunch stop at Coatepeque! Josue was really knowledgeable throughout the tour, and shared a lot of historical information about the Mayan culture, history, and lifestyle. I also enjoyed hearing learning about the history of and life in modern El Salvador. Highly recommend!
