I would love to be able to leave a review for this trip however Viator canceled our tour twice having confirmed in writing both times. We feel completely let down by them as this formed a big part of our trip to New Zealand. We received no apology or alternative options. Dreadful service.

As a solo traveler, I enjoyed not only the tour experience but I also enjoyed meeting new people on this tour. JEFFREY was our guide and he immediately made me feel welcome and included me in the conversation. The 2 winery stops were educational and fun. The Marlborough Sounds cruise was also a nice experience although it was difficult to hear the captions commentary. I quite enjoyed trying the green mussels and fresh salmon that they served on the cruise. A very pleasant and satisfying experience. Definitely recommend it if your in the area.

Highly recommend this tour, our guide was excellent & so informative. We enjoyed the wine tasting & cruise was good, unfortunately weather not amazing, not their fault of course. Thank you for a great day!

You can communicate with the tour company in advance. We asked to be picked up at Blenheim Airport and they were happy to do so. However, I was forced to wait at the airport for a while, forgetting that the person in charge had changed to Blenheim Airport. So I deduct my points. Other than that, you can spend your time relaxing in hospitality-filled service from New Year's Day. Gorgeous.

It was an excellent day. It was lovely to see so much of Queen Charlotte Sound, even if it did rain a bit on the cruise. Not sure if it's worth $288 per person, now $320??

The details of the trip are as previous reviewers have said. It's a great day sampling lots of wines & viewing stunning scenery with a lovely lunch then mussels & salmon mid afternoon. Highly recommended.

Wonderful! Everyone at the wineries were wonderful. Our driver Job was incredible. The cruise was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about this adventure.

Sam our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the 2 wineries we visited, Nautilus and Hunter. Would have been nice to have the option of upgrading the wine tasting. The boat cruise was awesome but we picked up additional passengers for the boat only, which made it crowded on the boat. The boat captain was very knowledgeable about the area we cruised and the crew very friendly and helpful. The mussels and salmon we ate was very tasty and there was alot for the passengers.

A most enjoyable day started with collection from our accommodation and then onto two wineries for wine tasting. Both were made interesting by the staff and were unhurried and after the second one we had a platter lunch. From there it was a 30 minute transfer, with interesting commentary from our driver / guide Maureen to Picton, where we met the large catamaran boat. The captain provided an almost running commentary as we toured the local sounds, which was most informative. After anchoring everyone enjoyed green lipped mussels, or an alternative plus salmon, all BBQ on board. Overall an excellent and very professionally organised trip and many thanks for making it happen.

VHighly recommend. cruise with grilled salmon and mussels. Boat not ovecrowded at all. Two nice wine tasting and lunch included. And they picked us up at our hotel so we didnt have to worry about driving, etc. Highly recommend. Our guide was very personable.
