We had an excellent day with Jeremy and Diego, two very enthusiastic and friendly guides. With our 3 teens, we loved the river tubing, very funny! The afternoon was also very entertaining with the hike up the river to the lioness waterfall. There, we were able to swim and try to swim against the current. On the way, we spotted an owl and some bats. Great family moments!

Very good, bring shoes you are ready to throw away. Very fun activity and all the staff were great. Pure vida

Our favorite day out of our 12 day trip! My teenage boy saud it was the most perfect day of his life.

The combo of canyoneering and repelling through the Lost Canyon and then a river rafting trip in the afternoon - all with amazing, friendly and experienced guides - was the perfect way to explore and experience the wildness and beauty of the Arenal volcano area and Costa Rica. I would have gone back and done it again if we were not already booked for another excursion. I can't recommend Desafio and this adventure enough!

My son and I had the most incredible experience. The canyoning was better than we thought it would be. It was a lot of fun and the guides were funny, helpful and made everyone feel safe. The whitewater was equally as fun. Our guide gave us a great experience and even when my son fell out we laughed it off. It’s hard to get a 14 year old boy to be impressed, but he has been talking about the experience ever since.

Would recommend for sure. All of the guides were really nice and fun to talk to. Walking through the steams in the forest was also really neat in between the waterfalls. Saw a lot of wildlife too.

Rappelling: AMAZING GUIDES! Made the experience memorable. I was scared of the rappelling but it's one of those things that you overcome the first one, have a blast, and the can't wait to do the rest! Only recommendation for everyone is to wear rubber hiking-like boots instead of water shoes. I felt the soles of my swimming shoes wasnt thick enough and didn't have enough grip and I felt every rock and kept slipping off rocks. Also don't wear glasses, the currents will definitely knock them off. Wear contacts if needed. Photos available for purchase. Towels, lockers and bathroom available. A burrito, plantain chips and juice snack was given in the shuttle ride to next activity. Rafting: Alot of fun, our guide Aurelio was a great and funny guide! Water shoes are best for this activity. They provided freshly cut pineapple and water melon fruits in the middle then a buffet style lunch afterwards.

Superb experience! The guides were fun, and were patient with my wife on the tall waterfalls, who is scared of heights. Our river guide, Jorge, was an absolute pleasure to talk with about the forest, sustainability, and Costa Rican culture. The whole experience felt incredibly well run, and was at the right pace to take in an incredibly beautiful area. 10/10 would book again

Great experience! Highly recommend. Everyone was so kind and helpful especially when our 11 year old son was very nervous to repel. They were patient and helped him feel safe. He did it! We had the best day!

We had an incredible morning canyoning! The guides were fantastic and made sure everyone was safe! We got a breakfast burrito on our way to rafting, which was another incredible experience! Be prepared to get wet and stay wet! Closed toed water shoes are a must! We could purchase photos and video after for both activities too! It ended with an excellent lunch! Highly recommend! Pura vida!
