We will never forget the rumbling sound and the smell of sulfur while gazing into an active volcano! Leaving at a “later” time than the sunrise trekkers let us experience beautiful lighting while crossing the caldera. Later, we were nearly the only ones at the waterfall. Communication was easy and our host provided us with a boxed snack before handing us over to our jeep guide who took care of us for the rest of the day. So glad we chose this tour!

Our English-speaking guide, Andre, was knowledgeable and mindful of our family’s safety throughout especially during the hike. The driver, Bonde, was skilled and ensured a safe journey throughout. Chose an excellent panoramic tour led by Andre, our English-speaking guide, and Bonde, a highly skilled driver. The journey itself was smooth and scenic, with timely insights from Andre that added context without disrupting the experience. At each stop, he shared deep local knowledge, pointed out prime lookout spots for photography, and was attentive to our family’s safety, especially on the walk up and down the Bromo crater. His flexibility in adjusting the itinerary due to poor weather and unforeseen circumstances was commendable. The day concluded perfectly with a satisfying late lunch, rounding off a well-managed and memorable experience.

Hands down, the best experience we could have asked for! The tour combines Coban Pelangi Waterfall with Bromo Park. We went up to the crater & our driver took us to different viewpoints to snap stunning pictures. He was nice, polite, and very patient with us. The jeep experience was super fun. Lunch was served at a nice café on our way back & it was also included in the price. 5 stars! Thank you guys for this incredible day!

The worst experience of our life. The jeep was in terrible condition and left us twice lying when going to Bromo. The second already in the middle of a two-way road where also the driver, with a precarious Englishman, abandoned us to move the jeep and there was almost no mobile coverage. When he came back to pick us up he was an hour trying to fix it and, half working, he put us on Bromo and we did the climb two hours later than planned. Then they provided us with another car and driver but we no longer wanted to go and said to take us back to the hotel. I believe that it is extremely irresponsible to use vehicles in such an unfortunate state, with the danger that this poses. I will never hire a Tripadvisor tour again. Much better to do it directly through the hotel.

The tour was great. We were picked up on time by a lovely driver in a jeep with whom he drove us from stop to stop. The Bromo is really worth seeing, but also at later time ~8am quite crowded, I don't want to know how crowded it is there in the early morning. The ascent is also feasible for fuller individuals, albeit exhausting. Also the descent/ascent to the waterfall. All in all a great trip. Thanks to our driver.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Smartine who organized the Bromo tour during our tour of Java and Bali. We had booked well in advance and were picked up by French and Aditya on the day of the tour. French quickly took us across the country from Malang to Ketapang and Aditya shared fascinating stories about the Bromo and Indonesia throughout the tour and journey. Despite a delay due to a public holiday, it was a great experience. Thanks to Smartine we enjoyed a carefree, enjoyable and above all enjoyable tour. an unforgettable experience, the beauty of Mount Bromo at sunrise is a very extraordinary and unforgettable experience, especially being able to get to the top of the crater and see its beauty in person, I hope there is an opportunity to be able to go there and see its beauty again

Incredible experience watching the sun rise over Bromo. Be warned that it will be cold and you will be outside for HOURS—dress as warmly as you possibly can! Great driver who was very willing to take photos of us. Cool to share the experience with someone else from the hostel too. All because of Vinda who got this arranged for us last minute! We cannot thank her enough <3
