Tim is an absolute ripper of a tour guide. We had such a great time on the tour. The location is amazing and the sunset was beautiful.
Tims easygoing nature made the event fantastic, he was ready to answer all questions and his knowledge of the island was extensive. We very much enjoyed the food and beverages served . Very pleased with the evening.

Although not the perfect sunset but who cares when we can enjoy West Point beach with a drink, a platter of food, an entertaining group and a full moon. We loved the history and ecology lesson from Tim on the way in and the chance to see a Koala with its child on her back. The overall experience was complemented by Tim’s wonderful commentary at West Point. We enjoyed the tour immensely.

Great Tour on a beautiful Magnetic Island evening. The tour guide Tim was awesome, informative, knowledgeable and funny. He pointed out things of interest and various trees and shrubs native to the area. We saw koalas in the wild on two occasions which was amazing (they are so cute) We got to Westpoint just before sunset and Tim set up a beautiful picnic table with nibbles and drinks for us. Needless to say the sunset was magnificent. We really enjoyed the tour Well worth the experience

We stayed at Nomads in Magnetic island & upon arrival were asked if we wanted to do the West Point Sunset Safari bus tour. The journey was about 20 mins out to West Point, to which we stopped to spot Koala’s and had a very knowledgeable and kind driver. When we got to West Point beach, we hopped out and took photos of the beautiful sunset (the best I’ve ever seen). Our Guide Tim (absolute legend) kindly got our picnic blankets and chairs to which we could choose what we wanted to use. He then set up a table of drinks, to which we got 2 each for free. We sat, drank and laughed whilst watching the sunset, shark fins and turtle heads approaching the waters surface, and looked at the stars when it got dark. Incredible evening and one that made us grateful to be where we were. Thank you Tim for making it special for us!

The tour bus broke down I understand that happens but how the incident was handled did not feel professional or that they valued their customers leaving people waiting for over 35 mins, not answering any calls. When finally someone came along their approach left us feeling more disappointed. I would recommend hiring a car that can go to West Point or an e-bike and taking matters into your own hand and will be doing so if we get back to magnetic island

MI Ride, a small family run local business, prides itself in its exception guest service and professional approach, and is absolutely devastated by this occurrence. I do hope you received your full refund in a timely manner.
