マグネティック島ツアーの舞台裏

Our driver, Tim, was the best. He was very knowledgeable about the Island and could answer any question we had. We stopped many times to learn about the history and take pictures. We fed the rock wallabies and saw wallabies running in the neighborhoods. Tim surprised us by taking us to his private property where he gathered eucalyptus branches that we took back to the animal hospital and fed two of the koalas who are there. We stopped in a small town where we had an hour of free time to eat, shop, or walk the beach. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Tim was awesome. Accommodating and made the rainy wet season day super enjoyable nonetheless. We had a 4 month old and two sassy teenagers and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great facts and knowledge with a combination of lived experience made for a fun filled tour. Recommend to anyone looking to do Maggie and see all the beaches and hot spots. We even got to meet some Koala and felt very privileged for the up close and personal experience

This was a lovely way to see Magnetic Island and learn lots for when we comeback and do it ourselves next time . Tim was a fabulous host . Thankyou for going out of your way way to pick us up when we were running late … oops . Make sure you catch the ferry over from Townsville to arrive in time lol

Unbelievable experience to be able to enjoy nature and learn about this beautiful island from an knowledgeable and enthusiastic local.

Such a fantastic tour! My friend and I went with Tim around the island. He was super friendly and knew so much about the island and the native wildlife and vegetation. We saw a lot of different places around the island and a lot of native wildlife. We saw sharks, fed Wallaby’s, saw a lot of birds, small reef fish, and of course koalas! Such an amazing tour and tour guide!☺️ Thank you Tim!

Magnetic Island is a beautiful island and Tim is a fantastic guide! He knows (almost) everything about the island and is excited to convey that to others. Too bad we could only stay on this island for one day.

Great look at the island. Tim was an excellent guide. Bring a swim suit because you may have some time at one of the bays.

Easy to take the ferry from Townsville to meet the tour. Great to visit the highlights with an Island native, Izzy’s Dad! The best was going to their koala hospital and feed the rescue koalas!

The tour with Tim is definitely off the beaten track. From the pick up at the ferry terminal to delivery back in time for the 3pm ferry we loved every minute. Tim is clearly passionate about his home island and the wildlife that lives there and it seems most people know him as well. From finding and feeding Rock Wallabies, to getting the history of old ferry terminals, rock formations to the highlight of seeing his Koala Hospital, this trip was informative to the extreme. You can also tell he is immensely proud of his daughter Izzy and his wife for the work they put in at the Koala Hospital. At Horseshoe bay we had just the right amount of time for lunch and as we drove past the strip of restaurants we got the run down and critique summary for them all to help our choices. All in all a highly recommended trip to see exactly what it says "behind the scenes". No tour coaches here, just a friendly 16 seater!

The tour was a wonderful experience for the family. Kids were so excited about seeing koalas, rock wallabies and seeing Izzy (tick, tick and tick). Tim is such a friendly and knowledgeable guide, with a few dad jokes thrown in. Highly recommended!
