This tour was a fantastic way to see the island. We had a group of 10 from our transatlantic cruise. They met us with 5 Tuktuks at the ship and took us around the entire island for the afternoon. This island is very hilly and would have been difficult to see much if we had to walk around. After a one hour tour and stops for pictures and drinks, they agreed to let each driver take their guest to where ever they wanted to go. Having been on the ship for the past 10 days, some needed medical supplies or wanted souvenirs and shopping. Or, to try local restaurants. The drivers were very knowledgeable, super friendly, flexible and welcoming. Speaking on behalf of the group, we highly recommend this tour.
Bruno is delightful. Took his time and allowed us to get out and look at various sights. Gave us good tips for Funchal and beyond

Bruno is excellent. Starting with your punctuality to begin the tour. Discover the history of the region and take you to places with spectacular views.
Tuk Tuk trip 3rd April 2026 Funchal We had a very informative tuk tuk driver who was able to access areas larger vehicles would not have been able to. Our driver, Bruno Costa, gave a constant commentary throughout our trip. He also offered to take photos of us at viewing points and recommended where to walk to once our journey had ended.
It was quick tour of some of the important parts of the city. Gives you an idea of where you would like to explore in more detail later. Enjoyed the ride around the city and the guide was quite informative.
Very nice tour, our guide Bruno was nice and knowledgeable. It was a nice short tour to see some of the cities sites.
Bruno gave us an excellent overview of Funchal, its history and its people in our one hour tour. He was very engaged.
