We went on this private tour from Egypt Holiday Makers with Samah as our guide. We opted for a private tour because, with a 1 year old baby, we wanted to be fully in control of the pace and timing, being able to change plans on the go if needed, and we were not disappointed! Mohamed, from Egypt Holiday Makers, was open to tailor the tour to our wishes to fit our schedule and special circumstances. As an Egyptologist, Samah is very knowledgeable. She's not the type of guide that will rush you through the sites, jumping from place to place, trying to fit as much information as possible, but rather take you through the locations main spots, giving you the right amount of context and details in the first part of the tour, and then allow you enough time to roam around on your own, take all the pictures you might want, explore places where you might not go with a guide, etc. From all the sites, we visited the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and the Medinet Habu temple. Then the baby became to fussy and tired to continue, so we decided to cut the tour short and spend the rest of the day at the hotel's swimming pool. We didn't get to see everything in the plan, but we ended up visiting the locations we really wanted, and spending more time in each without feeling rushed. You can tailor the tour to your liking (fast paced with all the locations, or more relaxed with what you really want to see), and that's the main benefit of those private tour. We also visited the east bank with the same company and guide and, all in all, we are delighted with them and especially with Samah!

We booked a guided tour of Luxor - Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Our tour guide Hamdy was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about every temple we visited. He answered all of our questions and helped us with many things, even bought us water. When we booked the private tour, we also got a private driver. Mahmoud was there with us, waiting in the car the whole day and he was exceptional. Overall, It was a memorable experience, and would definitely recommend this to my friend and faminily.

We have visited the Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut temple and Memnon Colossus and it was just mind blowing. Special thanks to our French guide Mahmoud for his detailed explanations, flexibility and the best places he drove us to.

We love Egypt Holiday Makers! Mohamed made everything so easy and the tour of the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple was fantastic. Our tour guide was friendly and even bought our children ice creams which went down very well! Would thoroughly recommend!
