We did the pasta course with Ariela and had a wonderful day! You can feel her love for food, cooking and the region. We learnt so much. The course is something for everyone who wants to learn about Italian cuisine, Tuscany and attention to detail. Without a lot of frills, you learn hands-on what is important when making pasta and there was also wonderful gelato. If we were ever in the region again, we would definitely book a tour with Ariela! alla prossima :)
Most certainly the highlight of our trip to Lucca! Very easy to book and we were made to feel very welcome. My husband and I have never done a cooking class before so was a first for us. We can’t believe how easy it is to make pasta and then to turn it into two different dishes with two different sauces. And then to finish off with churning our own gelato! This experience comes well recommended, we have even told friends about this who will be on holiday next summer! Thank you Ariela 🥰

This was an amazing experience for our family - cooking in Lucca with Ariela! My wife and I bonded with our grown children and grown grandchildren. Ariela taught us to make two kinds of pasta, two kinds of sauce and gelato for dessert. After we made everything, we got to eat it all - it was delicious and all the ingredients were from Tuscany. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get off the beaten tourist path and have a unique adventure. Ron C.
Absolutely a highlight of our trip to Lucca! Ariel made the class fun, hands-on, and perfectly paced. We made fresh pasta and gelato from scratch, learned great tips, and enjoyed everything together in a warm, friendly setting. Its was a really great experience - from the attentive and warm welcome to the grand finale of tasting the lovely food we made. We really enjoyed your warmth and superb knowledge of food and balances. And it was an absolutely great family experience. My girlfriend had suggested taking a cooking class during our vacation in Tuscany and it was totally worth it! Our instructor, Ariela, had everything prepared for us and was very warm and welcoming. The whole experience was super fun, time flew by and we learned a lot about Tuscan food and its history on the way while making our own pasta and gelato. Also all the ingredients for this cooking class were locally sourced in Tuscany and we ended up with some really delicious pasta and gelato. Also make sure to bring a lot of appetite or some Tupperware because there is gonna be plenty of food.

We did the Pasta and Gelato course from 10:00 to 13:00. Three hours might sound like a long time, but time truly flies when you’re having fun! We learned how to make fresh pasta dough and turn it into delicious ravioli and tagliatelle. In between, we also learned how to make amazing gelato. The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant and our instructor was very professional and knowledgeable. She had a great way of explaining each step and took the time to share the “why” behind every technique. All the ingredients came from local farmers, not only to support them and put them in a spotlight, but also because the quality and flavor is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to make pasta from scratch or is looking for a fun and tasty activity. Either way, it’s a super fun experience. Just be sure to come hungry, because you’ll be eating plenty of your own delicious creations!
We loved this experience and had a great time making pasta ravioli and gelato (amazing gelato!). Our teacher was very friendly and offered plenty of insights and the food was just delicious! I would highly recommend this activity to anyone traveling to Lucca.
