The road trip from Pokhara to Lower Mustang was an experience beyond words. It is one of the most scenic journeys I have ever taken. Normally, the drive takes around 6 to 7 hours, but our journey lasted nearly 10 hours due to unexpected weather and road conditions. Along the way, we encountered a hailstorm that covered parts of the road with ice. We had to wait while the cleared the road before we could continue our journey. Later, we came across another delay caused by a landslide. Fortunately, everyone was safe, although we had to endure long traffic jams.Despite the delays, the journey itself was unforgettable. Even while waiting on the road, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Everywhere we looked, there were towering mountains, waterfalls cascading down rocky cliffs, and winding rivers. The landscapes changed constantly, and every turn revealed a new spectacular view. The road to Mustang is challenging, with rough sections, narrow mountain roads, and unpredictable weather. However, these challenges are part of the adventure. The dramatic landscapes, unique mountain terrain, and raw natural beauty make the journey truly special. Words cannot fully describe the beauty of this route. Two eyes are simply not enough to take in all the incredible views. The road to Mustang is more than just a journey from one destination to another—it is an unforgettable adventure and one of the highlights of any trip to Nepal.
