Horrible! A waste of almost $200. The captain merely drove the boat out to sea for an hour, stopped 5 min., and then returned. He made no effort to find dolphins or whales. He said nothing to passengers. Of course there is no guarantee to see anything but this felt like the captain didn’t care at all. Would absolutely NOT recommend!

This cruise was incredible! We saw a whole pod of dolphins, and a humpback whale with a calf. Just stunning! And the price was beyond worthwhile. We did get a little under the full two hours, but I don't think I lost any value whatsoever. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and safety conscious. The only down side for me was the number of people on the cruise; I would have preferred a smaller group. If you're looking for the time of your life, book this cruise.

A memorable whale-watching experience with Harbor Breeze 🐋🌊 Overall, we had a really nice experience with Harbor Breeze. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable, and being out on the ocean was beautiful and relaxing. We were lucky enough to see a couple of whales, including their tails and blows, which was really exciting to witness in their natural environment. We didn’t get to see any dolphins during our trip, but we still enjoyed being out on the water and experiencing the ocean. The only frustrating part of our experience was the boarding line. I arrived before anyone else, but it wasn’t clear where the line officially started. It was also extremely hot while waiting, so I had to step away briefly to cover up and get some relief from the heat. When I returned to the area where I had originally been waiting, another passenger accused me of cutting in line. I wasn’t trying to cut in line—I had been there first and had only stepped away briefly because of the heat. The family next to us knew but preferred not to say anything. I think clearer signage or instructions about where the line begins would have prevented the misunderstanding. I did line up again and just brushed off the unpleasant experience. Aside from that uncomfortable moment, we really enjoyed our whale-watching trip. Seeing those whale tails and blows was definitely a memorable experience, and I would recommend Harbor Breeze to anyone looking for a whale-watching adventure in Long Beach. 🐋💙

Beautiful weather! Enjoyable boat ride! The crew were very kind and friendly and helpful with my handicap mom.

I booked our excursion the night before and picked up our tickets in the morning. The boat was a little crowded but we had an amazing time. Great crew and we saw sea lions, an extremely large pod of dolphins that played around the boat and finished off with a humpback whale. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely amazing! The guides were fantastic, so knowledgeable. They chased down dolphins and whales. We had the privilege of seeing 3 humpback whales and a slew of dolphins. It was a magical afternoon!
