Picked up on time, Geoff was very welcoming, good that there's only a small group, other people on the tour were nice and friendly, Geoff was very knowledgeable about history of Darwin and took us to some nice places,had a great lunch at Humpty Doo Pub, highly recommend the tour

It was wonderful seeing all the birds at the dam. Geoff is an excellent guide with lots of knowledge. Being able to receive his professional photos of the trip is a real bonus. Excursion topped off nicely by dinner at Humpty Doo.

Fantastic afternoon, a look around Darwin, Carles Darwin NP, then onto Fogg Dam. The Dam and the flat plain on the other side of the retaining wall areteeming with a wide variety of bird life and animals. The crocodiles were a little bit elusive. Dinner at Humpty Doo Pub was a great ending to the whole experience.

This was a wonderful way to spend time with a guide who cares about Darwin and his guests. All of this experience was delivered as promised - plus cold water and snacks. Our guide was professional and passionate in sharing Darwin's exquisite birdlife, agricultural, community and military history, First Nations languages and past and present stewardship of this part of Australia. We saw a crocodile in its habitat safely and our guide maintained 'croc awareness' while explored outdoors to see wildlife. The tour time was comfortable as a day trip from Darwin's CBD. As a solo traveller on this trip, the guide's warmth, knowledge and enthusiasm meant our small group were chatting and laughing together not long into the trip. An affordable and fun lunch at an iconic pub was included in the tour, as were binoculars and some guidance about how they work.The photos taken by our guide were beautiful and these were shared with us after the tour. I highly recommend this company and this tour!

Excellent tour including bird watching at fogg dam. We did the morning tour. Geoff was very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about darwin and surroundings in this 1/2 day tour. Geoff closes the experience with an email of his beautiful photographs of wildlife seen on the day. Thanks heaps Geoff

We spent the better part of a day with Geoff and about 70 species of birds. Took a private tour in the morning and the Humpty Doo tour in the evening. Geoff is an amazing birder- he would mention a prior sighting and magically that same bird would appear again! He’s knowledgeable and patient with newbies like me, and a lot of fun to be with. Oh, and the photos he took - gorgeous! We enjoyed our time so much we’re headed back for three more days with him. I can’t recommend LookAbout enough.

Geoff goes out of his way to make sure you not only see as much as possible; he also is a great wildlife photographer and sent us all pics he took with his camera. Excellent tour and excellent guide

Excellent tour if you want some insight into the history of Darwin and the wetlands was amazing! Saw many species of birds, crocodiles, wild black pigs, wallabies, turtles and a beautiful sunset. Dinner at the pub was great. All round a great experience. Thanks Geoff you love your job and it shows with your knowledge and enthusiasm!

Wow! If you REALLY want to see the TOP…. Geoff’s your man!! From the minute Geoff picked us up from the airport it was a very professional, educational and fun experience. We elected to do the personalised guided tour in his immaculately presented 4WD. Yes, every day Geoff had his vehicle, with vacuumed floors and windows sparkling, so we never missed a sighting. Our guide’s incredible knowledge of the bombing of Darwin and its war history, plus the devastation of cyclone Tracey and the rebuild of the city, was very impressive. Our visits to the museums and galleries reinforced this new found knowledge. When we hit the National Parks and waterways, Geoff’s in depth knowledge and photographic prowess of all that there is the discover and admire, came to the fore. He is passionate about ensuring that for every moment that you are with him, you are experiencing the best there is on offer. It was an absolute amazing week… we even had a “surprise” collection of fantastic photographs forwarded to us at the conclusion of our trip to just top it off!!!

We had some wonderful guides during our tours in the NT, but Geoff is at the top. My fairly shy 12 year old rated the Fogg Dam tour his favorite experience in Australia. We saw lots of birds, some sneaky crocs, and a mob of wallabies. All of that was followed by a nice pub dinner in Humpty Doo. It was the perfect end to our trip.
