Excellent. Kindness of assunta and her husband. I understood all as she how to make and cook the ravioli and the bruschetta. We dined outside . Such a wonderful experience. Assunta totally enjoys sharing her knowledge and techniques.
Highly recommend. Silvia was so welcoming, knowledgeable and talented. Awesome experience. Everything was delicious.
Monica was FANTASTIC!!! Her husband Paulo and her gave us a truly authentic Italian experience in their home. Monica was knowledgeable and funny and so kind. I did not want to leave. I felt like she was my mom. What an unforgettable experience. You will not be disappointed!
This experience was the perfect way to indulge in the Italian culture, cuisine, and history. Geneva was pleasant, friendly, and responsive when preparing for the class and went above and beyond to design and menu that everyone would love. Azzurra (spelling?) was lovely, talented, and one of the best teachers I've ever had! She made the experience fun, taught us a lot about the history of the Italian cuisine and how the cuisine varies throughout the regions. We made the most delicious pesto pasta, meatballs, and tiramisu. I cannot wait to make these recipes at home so I can relive my Italian vacation! It was a perfect gift for my mother and sister in-law and a great way to have a girls day while on vacation. Thank you for everything, Azzurra!
Viator mishandled this entire tour reservation. They are considering returning $300 to me for an adventure that never happened. I spent hours on the phone with them and was disconnected twice with no call back to me. The host was very gracious about the change. I am a loyal customer who has enjoyed Viator in the past I was very disappointed.

Originally an Indian, I live in Spain at the moment and chose to spend my Christmas vacation in Florence, Italy. On Day 1, I was at Lucca with the lovely Masini family, Antonietta my host, her husband Pietro and their warm-hearted english-speaking griend Monica. Loved every second of my time talking to them and sharing their space, their warm and lovely home and their gorgeous spread of 4-course meal. We interacted on cultures, their similarities and how love brings people together, food only gets them closer. I don't remember how and where the time flew. With much love and gratitude.
