Rui our tour guide/ driver was an amazing person. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and took us to some amazing places in Algarve. Some of the beach scenery in Algarve was absolutely stunning. The highlight of the tour was the small boat ride in the caves. It was an amazing lifetime experience.

This was absolutely outstanding. Our guide Joanna was the best part of the trip and is so wonderful and organized. We had a stress free unbelievable tour of the Algarve and she is just the best and the tour was the absolute best! It is one of the best memories I will cherish from our family trip to Portugal.

Wow the visit to Algarve was just the best way for us to end our visit to Portugal. It is an unforgettable experience. Our guide Nuno from Van Go Tourism amazing. He treated us so well like we are family. He showed us the best sites and we had such an enjoyable time and to top it all off even ice cream in Albufeira. I give this experience of a single day of the Algarve 10/10.

Long day, but, fun adventures. Be aware you have 5+ hours just driving to & from the tour area. The cliffs and small towns are interesting as well. The Cliffs boat tour was the highlight - about 1.5 hrs long. Bring flip-flops and sunscreen for the small boat ride. 9 ppl on a boat.

Full day experience in comfort and luxury. Private van with WiFi. Driver made sure the 2.5hr drive to Algarve was comfortable for everyone. Loved that he gave us historical information on the drive down. Took us stop to stop and even made suggestions and recommendations for food/shopping. Bengali caves boat tour was the highlight! Highly recommended if you want to explore Algarve and not have to deal with driving, parking, and booking anything!

Nuno was the perfect guide to Algarve for my family. Pickup/Drop off directly from our hotel made it convenient. He provided much information during the drive and made us feel comfortable. He made lunch reservations for us. The Bengali Cave tour was the definite highlight! He had water buckets ready to clean our feet afterwards. So thoughtful and considerate during the entire tour. He provided recommendations for food/drink/shopping. Van Go Tourism is a great company and provides excellent service. They are highly recommended by me and I’d ask for Nuno!

This was a long but well worth it adventure! Vasco did an amazing job showing us all the sights and explaining Portuguese history. He recommended a great lunch spot. The boat ride to the caves was a definite highlight!!

Amazing day tailored to what we asked to do. We saw many of the iconic beaches in Algarve, swam at one for a couple of hours at my kids request, and learned much about the region during the day. It was a great trip.

What a fabulous day! (May 30, 2026) Susana picked us up at 7AM from our hotel in Lisbon, as planned. We had a full and long day planned. The trip was prepaid and itinerary arranged back in February. Our trip to Lagos took about 3 hours from Lisbon. Susana entertained and amazed us with stories of the local areas we passed and the Portuguese culture and its history in general. She pointed out the agricultural aspects of the area and the Muslim influences in the architecture. Our first stop in The Algarve was Albuteira where we walked the cobblestone streets exploring the town and passed through a tunnel to the Praia do Peneco beach area. Next, we drove a short distance to Carvoeiro for a fabulous lunch at Tapas da Vila--the codfish fritters were yum! After lunch, we walked a short distance to the water side and donned life vests for a 90 minute boat ride through the Bengali Caves. (Don't miss doing this!) Following the boats ride, we headed to Lago--a simply charming town. Our stop included a guided walking tour and a guided visit to the cliffs of Ponta da Piedade for dramatic views of the rock formations off shore. After a full day, it was time to drive the 3 hours back to our hotel. Susana continued to tell us stories and the history of her beloved country. She made us love it, too!
