Nice bike tour with Maverick! He offered helpful tips for getting around the city and explained the local history of the areas while seeing the local sights.
It was one of the best experiences of our trip to Peru! The bike ride through Miraflores and Barranco is very pleasant, with a beautiful, safe and at a calm pace, allowing you to enjoy the landscape and better know the history and culture of Lima. A special thanks to our guide, Silvana, who made all the difference. She was extremely friendly and attentive. He explained everything with enthusiasm, answered all the questions and still took special care of my son, making the experience even easier and fun for him. My son adopted Silvana and her way of explaining and talking to him! Thank you, Silvana!!! We left the tour with the feeling of having known Lima in a much more authentic way. I recommend without a doubt to those who visit the city!
Wonderful tour, safe and fun! Maverick is an excellent guide and shares information about the history of the area that makes all the sites that much more interesting. We are headed to tour Cusco, Rainbow Mountain, and Machu Picchu next, and he had great suggestions for restaurants to try and tips for the altitude. My husband and I had a great time on this tour. The pace was nice and easy (for healthy people who normally hike/bike a bit). Highly recommend!
We only had one day in Lima and wanted to maximize our time with a bike tour. It was a great experience- super fun tour with Gaby. The only slight issue is I wish the company had taken more time to help us get a proper fitting bike. My bike was too small which made it hard to ride. And when I mentioned it, they didn’t seem to have any other options so I just had to stay with the bike that they gave me.. overall a good experience. Ages 52, 48, 22, 20, 17 and 12.
The experience was great, except for one thing. The tour should have started on the bike path at the beach, away from the city center, it was extremely difficult to navigate the chaotic traffic of Lima on an unfamiliar bike. I fell into traffic, and hurt myself, thankfully towards the end. Raul was a great guide, but faling ruined my experience.
This tour is perfect for first touch and first impressions about this amazing city. And what is best way to do it than by bike. You feel the beautiful chaos around you, meet the locals, live like Peruvian for a while. You deserve IT, and this city deserve to be explored by bike. My guide Gaby was educational, funny and great person, it was pleasure to be part of this experience. My best recommendations.
I think this was an okay tour. I enjoyed the people and the ride. I do think that we rode a little slowly though. Also, I would have liked more information at each site. Gabi, our guide, was able to give us small tidbits and answer our questions, but I would have liked a little more information, history, culture, etc. about the sites. The equipment was good: bikes, helmets, and they provided water. Plus, we had a guide, César, who rode with us and helped us cross traffic safely and was there for any bike repairs, if needed. Overall, it was good, but I also think that $40 was maybe too much for what we got.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with JJ. We felt very safe and saw so much more of the neighborhoods on bikes!
