There are very few tours that focus on the LGBT+ communities in Japan . We selected Pinpoint for their evening tours in both Tokyo (Hiro was the guide) and in Osaka with Kevin (Keith?) guiding us. Kevin is an American living in Japan for many years. His thorough knowledge of Japan’s history and culture created an understanding of the complexities of the Japanese relationship with homosexuality and how the two co-exist (and most pretending to co-exist). This is a walking tour that might be exhaustive for some. I’m 75 with some medical issues that create fatigue and I was tired when we were nearing the end of the 4 hour tour. Of course we could have parted sooner but I was able to continue and conclude the visit. I highly recommend this tour and want to thank our guide for sharing his thoughts, experiences and insights with us

Had a great evening with Kevin on this tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. It didn’t feel so much like a formal tour but a group of friends waking around exploring parts of the city with a specific mutual interest. He was open and frank which was welcome given the subject of the tour. At the end he stayed I thur bar with us for an hour or so singing karaoke. As he is Japanese-American there was no language concerns. Highly recommend.

Great tour with Kevin. He came to find me because I did not know my way around Osaka with their many exits. Kevin is very easy to get along with and had a bunch of knowledge regarding the area that we were touring. Had answers to all the questions and suggestions. Kevin made the tour fun even if it’s just the two of us. I really had a wonderful time with Kevin. I definitely recommends this tour.
