天国の門での日の出Lempuyang Bali

It was just one of the most wonderful experience we have ever made. Our driver, Widi is the perfect person for the journey. He’s so kind and disponibile, he was perfectly on time and always ready to help, explain, talk and teach us new stuffs. He’s a perfect photographer too, and he put our favorite music in the car while he was driving. 10/10 for the experience. 11/10 for our driver Widi, he is just the best! Super recommended.

Despite the nerve-wracking wait, we were rewarded by the wonderful atmosphere, do not limit yourself to the iconic door but also enjoy the same journey!

Pendi (our guide) was amazing! Wasn’t sure what we were getting into because there are not a ton of reviews but this trip was awesome. Pendi was there early to get us, took care of all the logistics (getting tickets for everything), and was able to answer all our questions. I booked the trip because my wife wanted to get the pictures (which ended up being super easy) in the morning because we avoided long lines, but I really ended up enjoying all the other activities they planned (waterfall, coffee tasting tour, stop at rice terraces, etc.) WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially because our guide was awesome, and crazy helpful.

We got collected from our hotel in Kuta at 3am to see the sunrise. Our driver Putu was excellent even though he was still learning English! He was happy, welcoming & informative considering the time. Putu was very helpful collecting our tickets for us & guiding us every step of the way to ensure we were in the right place. I would definitely recommend the sunrise, it was so beautiful seeing the sky change and it avoided both the long queue for the Instagram famous photo & the mid day heat! Although there is a bus to take you most of the way, you have to walk up a steep hill to get to the temple so moderate fitness required, but the view is so worth it! We also went to the Waterfall, which is 1000% worth it if you can make it, however what we didn't know is that you have to go up/down a lot of high and large steps & also climb up onto large rocks to reach the Waterfall. - At your own risk of course. Our driver Putu helped us and even gave my husband his flip flops as he was struggling bare foot carrying his trainers in the water area! Putu was so lovely & helped us capture lots of photos together! - Wear swim shoes or at the very least flip flops. Water gets above ankle height in places. You can swim in the cave area once you reach the Waterfall but there's not much area around it if you want to leave a bag somewhere. Lots of tall steps & uneven ground but rest stops along the way! Well worth it if you can make it! Do not attempt if you are extremely unfit, have mobility or balance issues.

My wife and I arranged a tour and Santana picked us up from our hotel and took us around Bali. It was an incredible day trip; Santana was super helpful and knowledgeable about everything, answered all our questions, helped us get in early to take pictures by the gates of heaven and was an excellent photographer!! Absolutely recommend getting Santana to be your guide!!! Thank you again for all your help!!

We did the Sunrise Gates of Heaven full day tour which also included visits to Tirta Gangga, Tukad Cepung waterfall, Coffee Plantation and Rice Terraces. It is a very full day - we were out for about 16 hours in the end, but certainly well worth it as all of the sights were amazing and driving around the various locations gives an opportunity to take in all that Bail has to offer. Arriving early at the heavenly gates in certainly necessary as even getting there around 6am we were number 116 in the queue for the photos and that took about 3 hours! Our driver, Putu, was great. He was very friendly throughout, really obliging and willing to take lots of photos of us all through the day. He is learning English and was doing a great job!! And if our day flet long, his was even longer as there was a lot of driving and traffic for him to contend with - and he did that really well Thank you! Would definitely recommend this trip.

Our driver's name was Dana and in all honesty has been one of the best drivers we have had since we arrived in Bali. He really went the extra mile to make sure we we comfortable and satisfied during the tour and made sure all of out needs were met. He took us to all locations in a timely manner and is an expert behind the wheel. The views during the tour were also incredible the Gates of Heaven overlooking Mt Agung in the early morning is really a sight to behold. The other locations included in this tour such as the water palace and waterfall make it even better. Dana showed us all the cool spots while we were there and even went as far as to recommend places to eat nearby. We were suprised to how Dana know so much about this area and as it turn out he used to live nearby. If you get a chance, book this tour without hesitation and trust in Dana to take you around.

Pick up was done earlier than the time scheduled which is good since we saved time on travel and arrived early enough as not to wait once arrived at destination since you are given a number and need to wait until it's your turn to take pictures. the driver was not intrusive and let us do our tour without making us feel rushed or pressured at all. recommend

Our guide’s name was Komang, and he was such a great driver, tour guide, and photographer! He picked us up at 4 am to go to Lempuyang Temple to watch the sunrise, beat the crowd, and take some really amazing pictures! Really recommend getting there early because if you don’t, it can take hours until you are able to take a picture at the temple. Komang was very good at taking instagram worthy pictures. If you get a chance to have him as your guide, you will have a great time!
