Our 5 kids (ages 12-19) had the best time and went from never touching a surf board to riding the waves multiple times. The guides were so positive, made it fun even for a couple of our more cautious surfers and offered constant support throughout the time. We would definitely book with this company again.

Staff is friendly but none of them really know what the street names are around them to be able to direct us to parking. There should’ve been some kind of map online to give you an idea of where to park. We had no clue. Mention in the description that we have to carry our own boards for a 10 minute walk. If you’re not a big person, it’s hard to carry those boards so far. Then it’s hard work trying to get up to surf. I recommend bringing some protein snacks because it’s exhausting. We’ve taken surf lessons in Hawaii and the instructors took a lot more time getting you to understand the basics of knowing how and when to stand up. Our instructors were nice but not experienced adults at teaching the sport.

Louie was incredible with my teens, they really learned so much in a short time and really enjoyed it!!!

What a great experience, the surf instructor had great communications and made it easy to follow direction and was patient teaching. His instruction made it easy to be successful.

We had an awesome experience with Chris at Everyday California! His passion for surfing is obvious, and he was a superb instructor for both me and my 12-year-old son. He has a natural talent for making people feel comfortable right from the start. We’re novice surfers, and we both got up on every attempt (I may have attempted a few less—freeze baby 😄). We actually had to beg our son to be done, even though his teeth were chattering. Can’t recommend Chris enough!
