Interesting information for all ages. The entire family enjoyed the show. Small and intimate. It is amazing how hot the lava makes your skin.

A must see if you’re in Iceland. The onsite as to how magma moves and hardens was eye opening. The heat is more than expected. Well executed show with lots of facts. Highly recommend
We really loved hearing the history behind the volcanos in Iceland and the learning that there is a chance Katla could go off again. Highly recommend this excursion before Katla ice cave. It really seemed to complement very well. We did the behind the scenes and it was fantastic to see the equipment necessary for the show. We also got one of the necklaces - just beautiful. Whole experience was awesome - great for kids - though we did not have any, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot. We did like our event moderator - he loves the geology and stories - very compelling and enchanting!
The venue in Vik is the original one and is small so you get a great view. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The information was interesting and easily understandable. The show itself was very interesting. Our family all enjoyed it including our kids who were 14 and 11. The whole show was in English.
This show is absolutely recommended! First there was a theoretical introduction and background knowledge from the show host Luis, who did it really cool and funny! And then to see how the lava flows and how he can play with it and handle it - fantastic! I can absolutely recommend it to everyone! Thank you Luis, for the brilliant show!
A truly unique experience. Where else can you see actual lava flowing in front of you. Our host was very informative and knowledgeable. The video explanation at the beginning was also excellent and gave us a good context for the Kala volcanic eruption in 1918. We even got to meet the guy who melts the lava. If you have time while visiting Vik, this is an experience you should not miss.
