Lots to see and read about. Short films to watch. Really explains the history of the mob. Great speakeasy in the basement.

Both the Mob museum and Speakeasy bar are worth visiting
A very informative museum which is worth a visit, a lot to see and read about. It was interesting to hear from the Chigaco mobster first hand, a one-off experience. The Speak Easy bar below the museum was a bonus, which my husband and I also enjoyed. Great selection of drinks, good food and very friendly service

Interesting museum especially for those who may not know mob history. Worth a visit and be sure to check out the speakeasy.

Real artifacts
Very interesting, nothing particularly new or not seen on Wikipedia, but the artifacts are real and not replicas, such as weapons of some famous gangsters and law enforcement officers.

Way More Than What You Think
You may think it's all going to be "Godfather," "Goodfellas," and "Casino," but the Mob Museum -- officially the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement -- provides an incredibly thorough, deeply researched, and immersive account of America's gangster culture. Start on the top floor, which begins the story with the immigrant experience, transitions to Prohibition and provides a context for the rise of the Cosa Nostra, Murder Inc. and their associated affiliates. The on-display exhibits don't shy away from the brutality of the era, with displays including a portion of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre wall and a final room of grisly photographs. Housed in a former US Post Office and Courthouse, the museum has repurposed its confines to tremendous effect, with galleries and public spaces interacting in an innovative way.

Very interesting and well put together!
Great museum! Very interesting obviously if you’re interested in organized crime. Great value in the canteen -muffin & coffee for $6!
