Edward was amazing guide. He took care of everyone, showed us where to walk and hike and took lots of photos.
Wow what a day, one of the best half day trips I have been on since arriving in Canada. Researched a lot of other trips to Lake Moraine & Lake Louise but didn’t offer the same length of time to explore both sites. Edward our guide for the day was fantastic, he really went the extra mile, taking our group personally to show us the best view points and took in an additional stop to allow us a view overlooking Banff. Good value for money and so well worth the trip, Edward helped make the experience so memorable.
It would have been nice to get notification of what kind of vehicle to look for. The first van that pulled up had the tour company on it but I was told I was on the next one which was a large bus with no identification on it and it was late.The tour guide called my name but never checked my ticket. The tour guide talked too much about bears and not about the history of the area. The length of time spent at each stop was good. The water and cookies were good. The ride back the bus was hot and the air conditioning was not on till half way back making the ride uncomfortable. At the end of the tour the bus died and had to be restarted twice and the third time it died we were dropped off a block away from our dropped off point.
Frank was brilliant. So knowledgeable and attentive Both lakes were beautiful but lake Moraine is my favourite
Everything is smooth and the tour guide is nice. Instruction is clear and both spot have enough time to look around! The view is gorgeous and impressive! Worth to go!
Great experience!! Our guide John was excellent. Shared lots of information about the area. Make the day fun and interesting. When was kind and helpful
Beware of tour time change. We booked this tour several months in advance. There were 3 choices. 8 am, 9:30am and 11am from Banff. We chose the tour specifically because it had a 9:30am time slot. The day before our tour, I get a text about where to meet, time, etc. I was in the middle of exploring and didn’t read it thoroughly until we were back at the hotel. The text said our tour was at 8am and to be there ant 7:45. I thought they had it wrong, and texted back. They CHANGED THE TIME and only bothered to tell me the day before!!! The reason stated was it was a better time slot and they couldn’t change the time in the app. No apologies for the late notice. In the end, we went. Lake Louise and Lake Moraine were beautiful. Edward was a great guide, very personable and funny but a little hard to understand with his accent.
Our driver Sam was amazing and did such a great job explaining where we were and what we were going to see. He was excellent at getting amazing photos of us all as well. Highly recommend!!
This tour is great and has far exceeded my expectation. When I first signed up, the package was sold as a pickup and dropoff service only. The price was lower than that charged by other operators. However, our driver Chris obviously went the extra mile; he was conscientious and helpful throughout the journey. He enthusiastically offered to take photos for us and gave useful advice in finding less busy yet scenic photo spots at Lake Louise. At Moraine Lake, he physically walked with the group to the Rockpile which meant so much to the guests. Would highly recommend it!
We had a great time! I'm glad we used a bus company instead of dealing with the traffic and full parking lots at the lake.
