Highly recommend! Easy and fun experience. Staff were great and informative on the history. Bonus…we saw schools of dolphins for a good 20-minutes following us around.

We originally booked with Discover Tours for a double haul catamaran to do the piedade tour. They turned out to be a scam company!! We went to check in 20 min early like they said to do after we purchased our tickets online weeks before. When I got to the counter and gave the lady our voucher, she got on her walkietalkie and talked to someone and whatever he said back to her she started laughing. She then told us our boat ride was cancelled due to bad weather. It was beautiful and sunny out and other boats were leaving. She just shrugged her shoulders. We walked around the boardwalk and saw people getting on the boat we were supposed to be boarding that was supposedly “cancelled”. They all had matching shirts so we thought we probably got bumped for a bigger party/bigger payout. We went back to the check-in counter to ask her why she lied to us about the trip being cancelled. she was actually telling others who were checking in the same thing, bad weather so their trip is cancelled. I confronted her asking her why she lied when clearly the boat is loading up with a group now. So weather can’t be an issue. “Ohhh” she said something about them being donors… so they get priority. What a terrible way of doing business! We walked down the dock and were able to buy tickets with Days of Adventure. They were so organized, nice, professional and FUN!!!

Our tour was cancelled without notification. When we asked why- they said the weather was the reason. We walked to the Marina and saw the boat with the Discover logo being boarded by people and they headed out to sea. There were plenty other boats from different companies leaving as well. We went back to the attendant at the office and confronted her about this “weather” cancellation. She couldn’t give us an answer. All she said was that this was a group of people who make “donations”. Apparently if you donate extra money, you can take the reserved seat of another client. We had planned this trip a week in advance. This cancellation destroyed our plans for the day.

Pleasant ride. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable and had beverages if wanted. Alittle rough sea for swimmers.

Perfect trip to see Ponta da Piedade. The catamaran was only a quarter full (the capacity is 80, we were only 20), so we had plenty of space. We had deliberately booked the morning trip, because then it is calmer and the sea is also less rough. Halfway we could transfer to a small boat for an additional fee (10 euros p.p.), which took us into the caves. That was a great addition. So we had the comfort of a catamaran plus the cave experience of a small boat. The crew was enthusiastic and friendly and the swim break/relax time was very pleasant. For us, this was the perfect choice.

We booked the catamaran experience to see the coastline and have a swim. The catamaran is impressive but not massive as others available are. It wasn’t overcrowded, my daughter was able to lay on the netting at the front of the boat throughout. The crew were great from captain to barman. To top it off we had well over the 30 minutes being able to jump off the vessel and swim which my kids loved. A great 2.5 hours spent and worth every penny.

We booked the catamaran tour - Caves and Coast of Ponta da Piedade - and were very, very happy with our choice. A special highlight for our 7-year-old daughter was the swimming stop, where we could jump from the deck into the water. The crew was in such a good mood and took very caring care of us. Our 2-year-old son also had a lot of fun! Many thanks for this unforgettable time!!

We had a wonderful experience aboard the catamaran to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday. Crew were lovely and even sang her bday wishes with a complimentary cocktail. Both informative and fun, food was good and plenty time to enjoy the water while it was being prepared.

What an amazing afternoon aboard the catamaran. The crew were great fun, welcoming and friendly and the route along the coast was spectacular. The catamaran is beautiful and well-maintained. Must do for anyone visiting Ferragudo/Portimão.
