Dear Guest, We are genuinely disappointed to read this review, particularly because several of the claims made in it are simply not true. First and most importantly, accusing our guide and company of being “criminal” is an extremely serious allegation. You paid no $600 to our guide or to our company during this tour. We therefore have absolutely no understanding of what you are referring to when you claim that you paid “$600 per couple.” If you believe this accusation is accurate, we invite you to provide the payment details or documentation supporting it. Regarding the short period of “free time” you mention, our guide did not abandon you, nor did he leave you without support in a foreign country. Immediately after entering Ephesus, our guide suddenly experienced an acute stomach illness and urgently needed to use a restroom. He informed you, took approximately 12 minutes to deal with this unexpected medical emergency, and then returned to continue the tour. Despite being unwell, he continued the tour for approximately four more hours in order to provide the service you had booked. It is therefore extremely unfair to characterize a brief and unavoidable medical emergency as deliberately leaving guests behind so that the guide could “parade around” with his friends. There was no abandonment, no attempt to avoid his responsibilities, and no intention whatsoever to leave you without assistance. We are also particularly disappointed by the personal insults directed at our guide, including “GFHS,” which is clearly being used as an abbreviation for an offensive profanity. You are absolutely entitled to criticize a service, but personal abuse and accusations of criminal conduct are entirely different matters. What is even more difficult to understand is that, despite this unfortunate beginning, the tour continued for another four hours and ended with the guests and guide shaking hands and parting on seemingly cordial terms. No such accusations or complaints were raised with our guide during the tour. Furthermore, immediately after seeing this review, the owner of our agency personally contacted you via WhatsApp. We did not contact you to argue or dismiss your concerns. On the contrary, we politely asked what we could do to address the situation and, if possible, make things right. Unfortunately, you did not respond to that message. This is important because our first reaction as a company was not to defend ourselves, but to try to understand your concerns and find a solution. We were willing to listen and resolve any genuine problem, but we cannot resolve an issue when our attempt to communicate is completely ignored. We fully respect every guest's right to express dissatisfaction. However, there is a clear difference between an honest negative review and making unsupported accusations of criminal behavior, making claims about a payment that was never made, misrepresenting an unexpected medical emergency as deliberate abandonment, and directing offensive language at an individual. We stand firmly behind our guide and our company, and we categorically reject the implication that we acted dishonestly or criminally toward you. We are sorry that you were dissatisfied with your experience. However, for the sake of transparency and fairness to future travelers reading this review, we believe it is important that the factual circumstances are also presented.
