I signed up for the class after my first meal on Naxos when I confirmed the food on the island is excellent. The location is in a quaint village with beautiful views. Ana was our instructor at her family tavern. The dishes we prepared were delicious and should be easy to execute at home. I’m looking forward to getting the recipes. Ana gave us a tour of the village and then we came back and ate the fruits of or labor in a beautiful outdoor setting.

We had a really great, delicious morning with Anna in Gregory's family tavern in a nice group of 4. The prepared dishes were delicious and quick to implement, the atmosphere was very positive. We laughed and cooked a lot. We really enjoyed the short village walk, as well as the subsequent meal together. Thanks for the great tips. Highly recommended.

We had a lot of fun and really appreciate Anna's ability to amend some of her recipes for our gluten free and non-red meat palates. The views around the village and the restaurant are stunning!

We had a great time at the cooking class. The food was amazing! Everyone was so nice and the town was so cute too! Definitely a highlight of our trip!

A unique and unforgettable experience! We booked this cooking class in Naxos. Anna, our Chef, introduced us to and taught us 4 typical local recipes. We spent some beautiful moments and had a lot of fun. Anna is a young, intelligent, and very well-prepared woman. Only "negative" note: the price, a little high. Highly recommended experience.

Our cooking experience with Anna went above and beyond our expectations. Anna had great enthusiasm and knowledge both in the kitchen and beyond. She taught our family of four (me, husband, 16y son and 12y daughter) how to prepare four traditional Greek recipes, additional walking tour and historical perspective on the region. The four hour class and meal was well worth the class cost and drive inland from the beach location where we were staying. We booked the 1500 class and enjoyed our hard work as an early dinner. Don’t second guess this experience - book it!

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived in the village. After a while we found Anna's restaurant and she was very friendly from the beginning until the end. Her brother was serving in the restaurant and it was like we were part of her family for a bit. Then the cooking, it was absolutely delightful. Great recipes and easy to cook, if you know what to do. Anna has great knowledge of the town and the food. I would definitely recommend it. Bring your appetite!

We were excited to experience a cookery course and new foods as a family. Gregory's Taverner did not disappoint. The food was delicious, we learnt new cooking techniques and Anna was very happy to answer all our questions. We can't wait to try out the recipes when we get home.

We loved to meet Anna and her family, and to spend a morning cooking Greek recipes with her. She was very nice, dedicated and we learned a lot about Naxian Cuisine and some traditions. Besides, there was a lot of food for the two of us. Can’t recommend enough this workshop with Anna, in her family’s restaurant!

Anna was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain everything clearly. There was only our family of 4 for the lesson but Anna made us feel as if we were her family’s guests. A unique experience, just make sure that you have a big appetite before you go.
