中国語漁網（チーナ・ヴァラ、）は、インドの定置式昇降網の一種。 漁業用の固定された陸に設置する漁網です。 インドでは中国語漁網として一般的に知られていますが、このような網のより正式名称は、陸上で作動するリフト網です。 巨大な機械仕掛けが横20m以上の横網を張る。 各構造物の高さは少なくとも10mで、海上に張られた網と、もう一方の端にロープで吊るされた大きな石をカウンターウェイトとして、最大6人の漁師からなるチームが操作するカンチレバーで構成されている。 このような網は中国南部やインドシナ沿岸全域で利用されているが、インドでは、ほとんどがインドの高知やコッラムで見られ、観光名所となっている。 この漁法はインドでは珍しく、14世紀に上陸してきた中国語人探検家によって伝えられたように、ほぼこの地域独自のものである。 確かに、高知という都市名の解釈のひとつに、中国のような意味を持つ「コチン」があります。
高知の高知砦（コーチン砦）にある聖フランシスコ教会は、もともと1503年に建てられたインド最古のヨーロッパ教会のひとつで、亜大陸におけるヨーロッパ植民地闘争の口封じの証人として歴史的意義が大きい。ポルトガル語人探検家ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマは、1524年に3度目のインド訪問の折に高知で亡くなった。 遺体は当初この教会に埋葬されたが、14年後に遺体はリスボンに運び出された。
フォート・コチ・ビーチは、ケーララ州南インド、コチ市のフォート・コチにあるアラビア海沿いのビーチ。
オランダ語人墓地は、何世紀も前に祖国を離れ、独自の帝国を布教し、拡大するために古代に帝国の住民として有名だったフォート・コチの訪問地の一つです。 墓地は1724年に献堂され、現在は南インド教会によって管理されており、その周辺に興味深い物語が含まれている。

Kochi is the “Queen of Arabian Sea” . It’s a vibrant cosmopolitan city rich in heritage , culture, traditions with great historical features along with beautiful modernization. It’s a unique blend of all the above features which makes this place truly the best and must visit a wish list destination. I took a tuk tuk from Fort Kochi.
