I did a one-day hiking tour on Mount Kilimanjaro through the Marangu Route, and it was such a beautiful experience. We hiked through the rainforest, enjoyed the fresh mountain air, and saw amazing scenery along the way. Reaching Mandara Hut made me feel proud even though it was just a day trip. We had a fantastic Kilimanjaro Day Hike with Ismani Tours and Safaris. The tour was well organized and the views were incredible. Our guide, Yusuph, was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and he made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the hike. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great Kilimanjaro experience!

It was to be another highlight, instead a nightmare. Pickup 8:45 instead of 6:30 without being informed - valuable time that was missing for the hiking. The Guide Peter, plunging drunk, lamenting, rabble and demotivated - an imposition and irresponsible! In addition, misinformation: Water in plastic bottles not allowed, strict controls, 17h instead of 18h the NP .. closes all lying. At 9h50 the hiking finally started and it was rushed and immediately set to speed. It quickly became clear that due to the delayed start the Machame Hut can never be reached (start about 10h +5h ascent = 15h, short break , descent 15h30 + 3h = 18h30) to be back at the gate in time for closing. A serious, professional agency would have cancelled the tour because the promised services could not be provided.
