ノルスケンハウス・キガリ集合地点からベルギー平和維持軍記念碑に向かって歩き始めます。 途中、キガリの清潔で計画的な通りとモダンな建築を感じることができます。 活気ある商業地や地元の小さな商店、身の回りで繰り広げられる日常の都市生活を通り過ぎていきます。
ベルギー平和維持軍記念館では、一旦立ち止まって、1994年のツチ族に対するジェノサイド開始時に殺害された10人のベルギー兵の歴史を振り返ります。 この場所には小さな博物館と、彼らが最後の証言を行った銃弾の跡が残る建物があり、ルワンダの過去と平和への道のりを力強く垣間見ることができます。

The tour was average. The guide good thou after the interesting Belgian Memorial, we walked past several buildings and then the poorer side of town. After 2 hours we were left at the cafe mall.

Really enjoyed this 3 hour walking tour of Kigali. It was a great way to get familiar with the city and learn more about Rwanda's history and culture. What was written as a three hour tour was worth 10 in knowledge and education. Walking around Kigali among the locals, learning local customs and history was very rewarding. My tour guide Jerry was excellent and explained everything in great detail. I would recommend this tour. At first I was hesitant to go but it turned out to be one of my favorite tours while in Rwanda.
