This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The water was so warm and clear, and the vibe on the boat was fantastic!!

We enjoyed the tiki boat sandbar safari and the employees on the boat were very nice. However, when we booked the trip we received a confirmation and a message stating a tip was expected. Then before the boat ride began, the employees told us again that tips were customary and they would have their tip jar waiting at the end of the trip as we exited the boat. When the ride was almost over, they once again reminded us that they were expecting a tip, and this time let us know they wanted 20 percent of the ticket price, which was $20 per person, I guess in case we were not able to figure out the amount. I have no problem with tipping for good service, but this was over the top and off-putting. A shame, as I did enjoy the sandbar cruise otherwise.

Our confirmation email does note that gratuity is customary, similar to a restaurant, with 15–20% being appropriate. A 20% gratuity is only automatically applied to bookings of 10 or more guests. Our crew works hard to make sure everyone is safe, comfortable, and having a great time, and gratuity is always appreciated. That being said, we never want a guest to feel pressured to tip or feel that it is being overly emphasized. We’ve brought your comments to management’s attention so this can be addressed with our team going forward. Bring sun screen. Captain and mate work hard to make sure you have a great time. Water was great and no need for water shoes

The safari tiki ride was the BEST thing I did in Key West!! It was so much fun!! And he crew was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of this!!

This was by far our favorite excursion we have done!! Travis & Brandon did an awesome job and kept the drinks flowing. So laid back on a not overcrowded boat and the sand bar they took us to was just beautiful!

This was a perfect last minute booking for my bachelorette party trip. Visiting the sandbar was an absolute must for us on this trip. We could've stayed there all day if they let us! The included alcoholic beverages was also an instant plus. Would definitely recommend!
