Trip to the airport from Reykjavik was seamless

The transfer in Iceland to and from the airport was very smooth and we were able to see a lot of highlights along the way.
I was at the bus stop (#`14) 20 minutes prior to the 8am pick-up time and NO coach bus with logo "Iceland Airport Transfer" (as shown in the Viator advertisement) came. The details pertaining to the Viator details needs to specifically state that "FlyBus - Reykjivick Airport" needs to be clearer.

Pick up was prompt but with no information given. Didn't know we had to switch buses. Got us there on time

I had booked tis ride to the airport several months in advance. They confirmed it and charged my card a day ahead. We were to be picked up at our hotel between 800 830 am. We waited and no bus came. No one contacted us to walk to a bus Stop to be picked up.We had to take a very expensive taxi or we would have missed our flight! I want my money back and an apology!

Comfortable transport, best way to get back to the airport if you’ve got no car or dropped off your rental already

Only giving 3 stars because of our pickup experience. We booked a 4:30 a.m. pick up. We were standing at the bus stop at 4:00 a.m. At 5:15 a.m., a Reykjavik Excursions transport arrived at the bus stop. (yes, we were cold!) The driver didn't want to pick us up since our time was for 4:30 a.m. even though there were only 3 people total on the bus. We told him that a bus never arrived. The driver took us to the bus terminal where we loaded the big coach and departed for the airport. The Fly Bus system from bus terminal to airport is quite efficient. I'm just not so sure about the bus stop pick-ups?!

Iceland was very interesting. Food and beers excellent. People great. Accommodation excellent. We did arrange one tour through GetYourGuide but when push came to shove we were not notified of pick up times etc. I accidentally came across correspondence in a WhatsApp message - I never use this app. They had my phone number and email address but didn’t use them to contact me. Prior to finding this message, the day before the tour we rang them and they told us they had no record of our booking despite having deducted the fees from one of my cards. We promptly booked a different tour while trying to get a refund from GetYourGuide. They dissembled, claimed the refund would have to come from the bus company running the tour despite telling us they had no record of the booking. As it turned out the bus company (BusTravel Iceland from memory) and GetYourGuide would make no refund as we cancelled our non-booked paid for tour in under the 24 hour cut off time. The story goes on but suffice to say we were dudded and financially lightened by the tour companies. One the one hand, apparently we had not booked our tour despite paying for it and on the other they recognised we’d paid for it and wouldn’t refund us the moment they realized we cancelled and wanted our money back. Ultimately the bus company claimed they’d tried to contact me by email in plenty of time and their records showed I’d acknowledged the emails but as they said this, GetYourGuide fessed up they’d given them the wrong email address which simply bounced back when I tested it. Still they blamed each other and neither came to the party so we gave up. Money for jam on their part. The replacement tour company was terrific. Great communication and great service and good tour.

Great service! Transfer bus arrived on time. Driver loaded luggage and transfer to terminal was efficient. Main terminal coah was spacious and clean. Would easily choose this instead of private taxi to airport!

Riding FlyBus to and from KEF is the best way to go! It was just as fast as a private taxi (which we took on our last Iceland visit) but cost MUCH less. On our departure, FlyBus was at our hotel ahead of time and got us to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight back home! FlyBus is the best way to get around Reykjavik! Thanks, FlyBus!
