アスギリ・マハ・ヴィハラヤはクルネーガラのパラクラマバフ4世（西暦1305-1335）の指示により、シリワルダナ司令官によって設立された[5]キャンディ湖の北に位置するこの寺院は、マルワツ・マハ・ヴィハーラヤよりもかなり古いと考えられており、
ペラデニヤ王立植物園は、キャンディアン王国がイギリス人に最終的に占領された6年後の1821年に設立された。 敷地はコロンボ道路のキャンディから5.5km弱のところにあり、マハウェリ川のループを占めており、南側を除いて四方を取り囲んでいる。 面積は61.25ヘクタールで、海面から約1550フィートです。 現在、庭園内に存在する木本、ヤシ、シダ、ラン、低木など4000種以上の植物。
世界的に有名な礼拝所である聖牙遺跡寺院には、ガウタマ仏の左犬歯が安置されている。 毎日何千人もの国内外の信者や観光客から崇拝されているこの寺院は、1988年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録された。

The tour was really interesting. Ramzan was very kind, took us to many places, gave us great recommendations, and looked after us throughout the day. We visited several temples, various craft workshops, and a tea factory, among other places. He also stopped so we could try some local fruits, which were delicious. It was a wonderful experience overall. 100% recommended!!

Our tour with Akila was such a wonderful day! Akila was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the history of Kandy. We spent a great amount of time at each location. For me, the highlight was the Botanical Garden. What a beautiful place! We also had some surprise stops along the way to try some fruit! For a very good price you can experience all that Kandy has to offer in a day, with a joyful and personable guide! Thank you Akila!

This was a great experience planned with Ramzan. As a first time solo traveller, he made sure I saw all the great attractions of Kandy, that I'm comfortable and overall having fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Kandy for a good ride and a great conversation to add!

We had a very nice tour with Ramzan. It was a full day and we saw everything we wanted to see and it was possible to skip things we didnt want to see. Ramzan drove very safe, waited everywhere for us and has nice music in his tuktuk. It was a very good day 🙂
The driver, Janet, was on time, friendly, and communicated well with us . He was very knowledgeable about the White Buddhist area, and facilitated our being told by onsite experts about the herb garden and tea factory. His driving was proficient and safe.
