鎌倉の大仏に出会う。 鎌倉観光で必見なのが、高徳院の鎌倉大仏。 鎌倉の境内に750年以上祀られ、鎌倉で唯一仏像に指定されている国宝
海岸線の美しい景色と隠れた小さな洞窟のある長谷寺をご覧ください。 奈良時代の天平8年（736年）の創建と伝えられ、聖武天皇の御代に勅願寺に指定されるなど、鎌倉最古の寺院の一つである。 本尊は十一面観音像。 「鎌倉の西の浄土スハヴァティー」と呼ばれ、四季を通じて花が咲き止まず、花や木々の色彩が訪れた人の心を和ませます。
日本の文化や歴史を学ぶ 鶴岡八幡宮（つるがおかはちまんぐう）は、神奈川県鎌倉市雪ノ下にある神社である。 鎌倉八幡宮とも呼ばれる。 11世紀後半に源氏の守護神として創建された。 以来、鎌倉武士の守護神となっている。 現在、全国の八幡宮の中でも、関東では鎌倉幕府初代将軍・源頼朝ゆかりの神社として親しまれています。
小町商店街で和菓子や屋台の試食を楽しむ JR鎌倉駅東口から鶴岡八幡宮までは若宮大路と並走し、昔ながらの土産物店からファッション雑貨、レストランまで幅広い買い物や飲食が楽しめる。

We had kaz, he was brilliant , every thing was explained, he took time as my wife had a sour leg,we stopped regularly for water , he also took time too get to now us, Kas 10 out 10

Me and my two kids (in their 20s) took the tour of Kamakura with Ken today. It was fantastic! We saw so many shrines and temples, and Ken provided lots of information that helped us understand what we were looking at. Highly recommend!

Jim (our tour guide) was awesome. So energetic both in his story and history telling as well as his appetite for exercise (we walked over 6 miles!). Great, great trip; I don’t know how we would’ve found our way to the four different shrines and two temples without him. We got to enjoy the historic sites and the beautiful nature trails in between, couldn’t have had better weather. We also got to enjoy the town and streets of Kamakura itself, some small quiet neighborhoods only to be interrupted with a bustling busy shopping street(s). Overall, I’d recommend this trip both for our wonderful time spent with Jim himself as well as the beauty and adventure of Kamakura!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic day with Jim, our tour guide, in Kamakura. First of all Jim was very accommodating as we were running late for our tour and he very kindly waited for us. The walk to the different shrines and temples was stunning, he even took us on a little hike! He explained the history of each site and taught us how to properly say a prayer at each site. He finished the tour with a walk down the main shopping street in Kamakura and explained the different shops and even bought us some treats. Overall a great day, thank you Jim!
