仙gan園（仙巌園）は、ote亭としても知られ、鹿児島のダウンタウンの北側の海岸沿いにある日本庭園です。庭園の最も顕著な特徴の1つは、桜島と鹿児島湾を借景として使用していることです。庭には小さな池、小川、神社、竹林もあります。 千賀念は、江戸時代（1603〜1867年）に最も強力な封建氏族の1つである裕福な島津氏によって1658年に建設されました。島津は1868年の封建時代の終わりまでほぼ700年間for摩domain（現在の鹿児島）を統治しました。彼らは西洋の科学技術の初期の採用者の一部として現代に影響を与え続けました。
Re明館は、地元の歴史と文化に捧げられています。広々とした3つのフロアには、古代から現代までの鹿児島の歴史を網羅するさまざまな展示があります。昭和初期（1926-1989）の鹿児島のダウンタウンの大きなジオラマや、中世の小さな村のモデルなど、いくつかの興味深いモデルがあります。 博物館は、鹿児島または鶴丸城として知られる地元の城の旧跡地に建てられ、旧堀と石垣の一部に囲まれています。博物館と城跡は城山のふもとにあり、文字通り日本語で「城山」を意味します。 博物館の近くには、他にもいくつかの博物館や文化的名所があります。最も人気のあるものの1つは、1860年代後半の明治維新のリーダーである地元のヒーロー、西郷隆盛の像です。西郷は城山での戦闘で死亡したと考えられています。
城山のふもとにある照国神社は、島津lanの28代目である島津成kiraの精神をenっています。 18世紀半ばに建てられ、訪問者はその規模に感動するはずです。 神社への訪問者は日本の結婚式を目撃することができ、毎年7月に開催される六月gと呼ばれるイベントでは、提灯が神社の敷地内に並んでおり、夏に鹿児島にいるなら必見です。
照国神社から徒歩10分ほどのところにある西郷隆盛の像は、日本を現代に導いたtheに捧げられています。死後50年で男の故郷に建てられたこの印象的な像は、空まで8メートルの高さにそびえています。 この銅像は、東京の渋谷駅にある有名なハチ公像と同じ芸術家によって彫刻されました。軍服をまとった西郷の恐ろしい存在は、彼の背後にあるそびえ立つ山々によってさらに印象的にされています。
鹿児島城（鶴丸城跡）は、かつて街の城が誇らしげにあった街の隅にあります。もともと鶴丸城として知られていましたが、1602年に建てられ、1873年に焼失しましたが、その石壁と堀は島津ofの力を思い出させるものとして残っています。 また、城の敷地内には、天照院篤姫姫の像があり、城跡には歴史文書や工芸品があり、歴史愛好家には必見です。
石橋公園は鹿児島市にある公園です。 この公園には、石橋記念館があります。石橋記念館は、江戸時代に建設された石橋の歴史と橋の建築技術を展示する博物館で、市内の中央を流れる小gawa川に沿っています。 これらの橋のうち、残っている3つの構造物の中で最大のものは西田橋であり、最終的に移動されるまで150年間地元の人々によって使用されました。橋の下のエリアは子供たちが遊べるようになり、休息とリラックスの場所として地元の人々に愛されています。
キリスト教の言葉を広め、外国文化を紹介するために日本に旅行したことで知られるイエズス会の修道士フランシスコ・ザビエルは、1549年に来日し、鹿児島に1年近く住んでいたと言われています。ザビエルパークは、修道士が日本に来て400周年に設立され、彼自身の像と記念額があります。 ちなみに、明治時代に町の照国町地区にキリスト教徒の教会が建てられ、その名にちなんで名付けられました。この教会は戦争中に失われましたが、今日は教会の一部と再建された教会の一部が存在しています。
1868年、250年以上にわたって国を統治していた徳川幕府が倒壊し、明治政府の形成への道が開かれました。徳川の崩壊から明治政府の台頭までの期間は、明治維新として知られています。明治維新で重要な役割を果たした特定の地域は、鹿児島そのものです。 明治維新の博物館では、鹿児島の人々の功績が記憶されており、日本が近代に入ったときに起こった紛争に飛び込むことに興味のある歴史愛好家には必見です。 博物館の内部では、訪問者は映画、ジオラマ、さらにはロボットやその他のハイテク展示品を展示しています。 1階にある復元体験ホールでは、街の最も重要な人物である西郷隆盛と大久保利通の2人のロボットを使用したパフォーマンスを見ることもできます。
桜島（さくらじま）は、鹿児島県鹿児島市にある活火山。 火山は常に噴煙を上げており、小規模な噴火が1日に複数回発生することもしばしばである。 鹿児島湾の中央部に位置する桜島は、標高1117メートル、周囲約50キロメートルと、この地域で最も目立つ地形である。 1914年（大正3年）の大噴火以前は、桜島は湾内の島であったが、その噴火による大規模な溶岩流が、現在の東の大隅半島と陸続きの火山となった。 しかし、大多数の旅行者にとって、この火山へのアクセスは、鹿児島港と桜島フェリーターミナル間の3.5kmを運航するフェリーが最も容易であることに変わりはありません。

We had a wonderful time visiting Kagoshima and seeing the sights including the volcano and the gardens. Our guide was great and the tour was fun and educational.
Mio was delightful. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She also made such an effort to learn all of our names, and she was great with my daughter. The entire family had a great day touring Kagoshima. I would highly recommend this to her.

What an intriguing city! Our guide was super proactive about learning about our group (family of 4, two teenagers) and interests to plan a great day. The driver could not have been nicer or more professional. It was super hot, so we revised our plans midday without any issues. Our guide was really knowledgeable about her city, and the culture of Japan. We learned a lot and truly enjoyed her company!

We had a wonderful day with Shinju! He was so knowledgeable and well prepared. Immediately upon our disembarkation he led us to a map of the area we were to tour and explained our route. Along the way Shinju continued to educate us about Kagoshima. Additionally he had a book he made with photographs and maps relating to our tour. We were all very impressed. We had a great day with Tashi.. he is a very friendly guy who communicated very well prior to the trip to schedule our itinerary. Unfortunately it started raining in the afternoon and ultimately we decided to skip our last stop.

Kagoshima was an unexpected highlight of our trip to Japan. We were so impressed with the city. Shinju was our tour guide, and he arranged samurai armor wearing and bow and arrow experiences for our kids. It was one of our favorite experiences of our entire trip to Japan. Shinju was very informative and spoke excellent English. We had a fantastic time and learned so much. This was a great tour!

Mio was awesome! She took care to bring us little presents from Kagoshima and had an English book for us to read about the Meiji Restoration. She was very knowledgeable and had excellent English. An awesome and excellent experience. Only downside was we didn’t have as long in port as we originally thought. So she couldn’t take us everywhere!

We had a wonderful time in Kagoshima. Shinju was an excellent tour guide and we loved all the places he took us. I especially loved visiting the samurai village in Chiran. It was so interesting to learn about them and see how they lived. We took the fairy over to the active volcano and got a good view from the observatory. Then, we went to a park where they have foot baths and dipped our feet in the hot baths. We also visited the kamikaze museum where they pay tribute to all the young men who died in a one way mission during WW II.

Our host and tour guide SHINJU was just fantastic, starting with the pick-up at the cruise terminal and then taking us to the interesting sites in Kagoshima - including the volcano, the exciting Senganen garden and the observatory overlooking Kagoshima and the opposite volcano.
