There is no night life. Very quiet. Beaches, not the most amazing, but the island is quite special. The people are lovely. Ladies should cover their shoulders and knees when not in the beach and men not go around around shirtless as the locals are nearly all muslim and we not want to offend. We had a special time. A scooter is really a must as there is no public transport and distances are too long to cycle or walk, plus ot can be quite warm in the middle of the day. Plenty choice for eateries near Besai Beach. No beach loungers and best to swim at high tide. We loved it, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea!
Very good tour service by Mr Sumit. Came to hotel on time and very caring . Helped my kids to put on seat belt. A very passioniate tour guide
