シャージャハン皇帝によって設立され、高さ18 mの壮大な壁に囲まれたレッドフォートを通り過ぎるこの要塞は、建設に10年を要し（1638–48）、幸運のために斬首された囚人の遺体が建てられたと噂されています。
ラージガートヤムナ川のほとりにある、静かで手入れの行き届いたこの公園には、1948年の暗殺後にマハトマガンジーが火葬された場所を示す、シンプルな黒大理石のプラットフォームがあります。

We were picked up from our hotel on time and had a great day with our tour guide Sunil Kaneriya and our driver Vishan Sharma. Both are very knowledgeable and give us a very good info around Delhi. We went to Jama Masjid, Rajghat, India Gate War Memorial, Presidential House and many more. We had requested a halal restaurant and were taken to a restaurant called Lutyen’s. The food taste great and we are happy about it. We also requested to send us to the airport at the end of the day. All were customized as per our needs. We are happy with the services and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Mr Raj Sharma, Nikita Holidays, Sunil for being a very attentive to our needs and Mr. Vishan for a patient, careful driver around busy Delhi.
