Our guide was Sam and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Just a great young man! We were able to go places and see things that most large groups don’t get to see. We enjoyed getting to know the culture through his stories. I am a Quilter and he was even able to find me a store to buy Fabric! How fun is that? If I could give him 10 stars, I would.
Sam was an amazing guide for our day in Istanbul! He picked us up right on time at our hotel and helped tailor the schedule to exactly what we wanted to see (and made sure to hit all the highlights in the places that had too much for one day). His English was excellent, and he kept up incredible energy and shared interesting facts the entire day. He also knew all the best spots for pictures, which was a nice bonus. When we needed a little break, he gave us great recommendations for where to eat and let us have a nice lunch to refuel. We learned so much and had such an enjoyable day thanks to him. Sam is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Istanbul!
Absolutely wonderful day with Anil! With Anil’s expert guidance and thorough knowledge of history, we visited the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern, though we opted out of the steep ticket price for the final stop. After these stops, we navigated the shopping district! We loved having someone to help up navigate the maze that is the Grand Bazaar, and someone to take us to the best rug, cashmere, and candy shops. Highly recommend having a private guide. It gives the opportunity to ask lots of questions and receive a more tailored tour. Anil was fabulous. We were so sad to say goodbye to him after our full and fulfilling day!

Our visit was phenomenal and thanks, mostly, to our tour guide, Fettah. Seeing the Hippoddrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern (mystically awesome) was incredible.
Umutcan was very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant! Having a guide explain things and answer your questions is very helpful when you’re unpacking so much history. He also helped my husband navigate the sites using his mobility scooter! This wasn’t easy but Umutcan made it happen. It was nice to learn about the Islamic faith and the role Türkiye played in the development of many faiths and cultures. This tour does not include museum admission which is about another $140 USD. You are paying for the private car & guide. I don’t advise doing a tour past 11AM as the museums close at 7pm and they start closing doors at 6:20pm. You need the allotted time given on the itinerary to get to everything or you’ll miss sites like we did.

The tour was absolutely amazing!!! There is so much to see in Istanbul and our guide Yasar was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the city and all of its treasures. He was also patient, ensuring we had the necessary time to soak in everything. We only wish we had more time In Istanbul as there was so much more to see.
Exceptional. Eren, our tour expert, must have done this "thousands" of times, but still was compassionate at providing his insights, in depth knowledge and thoroughness. Detailed information that was interesting and well presented. He was patient and completely flexible. Well worth it and no regrets. This was our first private tour and we were lucky to have Eren. We can only hope that the next time we do a private tour, we get someone of Eren's caliber.
