Absolutely worth every penny for this tour. We had a wonderful trip to Skye with Roy. He picked us up at our house in Inverness and safely drove us around for 12 hours! He stopped at all sorts of places we would have missed and offered us plenty of chances to use the restroom. He truly enjoyed every aspect of our day and Roy was the best guide we could have hoped for. He was lovely and this tour was the highlight of our trip to Scotland.

The tour was amazing, even better than expected! Our guide/driver Stuart was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable! It was a 9 hours day trip for our family of 4 people, Stuart came to pick us up right in front of our accommodation at Inverness. We were able to go to all major sightseeing places, the views of the Isle of Skye was incredible, much more than we expected, and with Stuart’s guides, the views became more meaningful than just views, there’s so many interesting histories and stories behind them. Furthermore, the administration team was also very helpful with the booking and with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this activity (day trip from Inverness to Isle of Skye) from Historic and Scenic Tours to everyone who wants to go to the Isle of Skye!

This was a wonderful day highlighted by all that the Isle of Sky can offer. Our driver, Mike, was absolutely perfect. He listened to our requests and came up with an itinerary that was perfect. It was our first trip to the Isle of Sky and he was informative with his commentary and patient with all of our questions. He went over the top to make sure our day was special including a last minute spotting of a hairy coo on our way home.

Our tour guide, Roy, met us promptly and was very friendly and informative. We had a great day tour of the Isle of Skye with him. I would 100% recommend this tour company as well as Roy! Mike was great and picked us up early from the cruise port. He made sure everyone was comfortable, brought us to all the stops we wanted to see, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole area. We were very pleased with everything and would recommend again!
