歴史あるダルキー城 (1390 年) では、すべてのガイド付きツアーの一環として、衣装を着た生きた歴史俳優がアーチェリー、理容手術、中世の循環経済 (無駄なものは何もなかった) についてのマスタークラスを行う料理人など、古代の歴史を色鮮やかに演出します。 ツアーには、この場所に隣接する雰囲気のある 10 世紀の聖ベグネット教会と墓地の探索も含まれます。 文化遺産センターには、さまざまな言語でのインタラクティブな画面とスケール モデルも含まれています。 ライターズ ギャラリーには、ジェームズ ジョイスからボノ、サミュエル ベケットからメイヴ ビンチーまで、地元にゆかりのある 45 人のクリエイティブ アーティストの作品をインタラクティブにパネル展示しています。 胸壁に登ると、周囲の海と山々の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。 大人数のグループの場合は、ガイド付きウォークを追加するとよいでしょう。ツアーは90分ごとに行われます。

Perfect length, group size and guides. They really put their hearts into the acting and made it fun/interactive/educational. My kids (6 and 9) will remember this forever. Their first castle experience! We actually arrived a bit late so I was ready to be turned away but the front desk staff brought us into the room where the tour was happening so we were still able to join. Very steep and narrow stairs at some points- dangerous for those not able to climb or not stable on their feet. I believe some older guests were given an alternative route from our group but they may have missed one part of the tour.

We had a wonderful time getting quickly into character with the arrival of the barber the initial activity of munting a coin with the children was a great idea.staff were exceptionally patient with the children. This is not a boring museum and apart from the initial room there is no information to read making it child friendly. All the characters were fantastic and the information was given in a way that my daughter was able to remember later on due to story telling. The rest of the staff were also wonderful. A lovely moment that left me wanting to hear more. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

As Invaders from the North side of Dublin we loved the tour of the castle and all the fun of the interactive visit. We returned to our side of the city very happy with our insight into Dalkey Castle!

The actors were fun and friendly and really brought the castle to life. I found the video showing how the castle was built was very informative and showed why the structure was the way it was.
