If you're planning to explore Kampala, I can't recommend Firdaus enough! 🌿🇺🇬 As a first-time visitor, I found downtown Kampala vibrant but also quite busy and overwhelming. I wanted to experience the city without worrying about getting lost, and meeting Firdaus was the best thing that could have happened. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the tour. She showed me around downtown, shared the history and culture behind the places we visited, and made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend going around Kampala with a local guide. Fridaus was lovely and very knowledgeable. She explained history of uganda, and cultural practices. I would warn you though this is a one way tour. We were left at the Mosque with no clear understanding how to get back to our hotel and no Internet to call an Uber or use Maps to walk back. Fridaus was kind enough to call an Uber for us.

This tour is great! I've been on this tour twice now and both my hosts (Sarah and Fridaus) have been wonderful. All the spots are so interesting and varied, and you get to try delicious food.

I had one day to see Kampala on my first visit to Uganda. And what a great day it was spent with Fredaus. She was so knowledgeable and the tour gave me a true taste of the local life and culture. I am quite an experienced traveller but I am glad I opted to have a guide as I have learned a lot and also felt very safe (as a female) walking along the streets and markets of Kampala and being taken to the best sport to take the photos.
