Doing the wine tour with Béa felt like meeting up with an old friend over glasses of wine. We immediately fell into a comfortable conversation, learning all about the region and what goes into the winemaking. She is clearly very knowledgeable on the region, the wines, and knows the folks who work in these wineries. We arrived late due to train delays and Béa put us at ease, adjusting the winery reservations to accommodate our lateness. She even helped direct us to our hotel after to make sure we found our way. We highly recommend a tour with Béa and will be recommending it to any friends traveling to the region for an authentic experience! Thank you, Béa!

Bea did a great job of making our time together fun and interesting. Her knowledge of wine generally, and the region specifically were extremely deep. She was a very patient educator. We highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the region's world-famous wines or simply want to enjoy a day out in Provence with someone who is passionate about the region. Travelling with Bea to the wineries on her tour is like having a backstage pass - she has a deep rapport with the winemakers she includes on her tour and we felt like welcomed guests as we sat on the terrace, learned about the tiers of French winemaking and enjoyed some samples of their products made with varying cuvees from grapes grown on different plots of land that the winery owns/manages.

We had a wonderful day and enjoyed every aspect of it. Beatrice explained from the history, geography, process and everything else about Chateanueuf du Pape. Highly recommend!

We went on Bea's tour in May of 2024 and had an excellent experience! She was so welcoming and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Neither of us had very much in-depth wine experience, but Bea and the wineries we went to were wonderful teachers. We went into the day without knowing much but are now big enjoyers of both Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines and Southern Rhone wines in general!

Such a wonderful and friendly host! I learned so much about wine and had a blast doing it. We are planning another trip to the region with a larger group and want to have her show us around again. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an authentic, original, friendly (... and let's face it, INCREDIBLY tasty!) way to learn about the food and drink of Provence, this is the trip for you. It is easy to find somebody to take you wine/cheese tasting. There are lots of tour companies that will take you to the same places that everybody else goes to. Great food, markets and wine are such a great way to find out about a place. What is really difficult is to find a true local, who is genuinely bi-lingual (in French and English) and who actually wants to show you the BEST of the food, drink and history of this stunning region. Not an itinerary pre-chosen by some company with a sweaty minibud, but a tour tailored to what YOU like to eat... drink... and see. Bea has a passion, talent and local knowledge that is truly, brilliantly infectious. And because of this, she can make sure everyone in your group is catered to - whether you have a family, are travelling solo, or as a couple. You come as a guest; you leave feeling like you have a second home. We have been fortunate to try many good 'experiences' and tours, in many different countries around the world over the years. And I have no hesitation in saying that Bea's In-Depth-Chateauneuf Du Pape Experience is the very best of those.

Béa's Escape in Provence is likely one of the best and most interesting way to discover or even improve your knowledge of Côtes du Rhône wines ! Béatrice expertise , joie de vivre and biblical knowledge of Chateauneuf du Pape and all other wines, vineyards and the "vignerons", will make you forget there was any other wine in the World. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our CDP wine tour. Our tour guide Bea had a wealth of knowledge pertaining the region and its wines. She was extremely personable and a delight to have as our guide. The wines and lunch were AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this tour or any tour with Bea!

We had a great day with Bea. There was another couple with us in Bea’s car and we had a fun day. Bea’s knowledge is incredible and she has a fab sense of humour. We really enjoyed the lunch at the chateau. Would definitely recommend this unique day out for Bea’s personal and friendly approach.

I took a tour with Béa and it was absolutely fabulous. She speaks very good English Don’t worry about that. We tasted some lovely wines and we had a wonderful lunch. I highly recommend her tours. You will be very, very pleased.
