So impressive and just stupendous! Beautiful and exciting to watch. I actually went in 2006. The Director went on to organise the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. Wonderful costumes, thoroughly coordinated dancers and actors - including tiny, very young ones who were perfectly trained. But the most captivating part is the scenery and the colour. The lake panorama spreads before you and action takes place mainly on the water or boats. A huge bolt of red cloth is slowly spread across the water from person to person, boat to boat. So dramatic and a beautiful sight. But so much more too.. You should not miss it! It was the highlight of my visit in this amazingly beautiful area and I shall remember it forever.

What an amazing show. Zhang Yi Mou has outdone himself here. Great cast, fantastic sets, change of settings, wonderful and seamless transitions, spectacular lights and effects, wonderful sound, all against the backdrop of the maginificent mountain range and on the water ✊😊 a must see show 😊

We were a bit skeptical, but was worth the effort to go. It would have helped if we would’ve read up on the story before not after the show, as we were only guessing what actually was happening. The show was very impressive. I personally did find my surrounding visitors pretty annoying. Even though flash photography is forbidden, no one seems to care and people don’t seem to know how to turn the flash off. I was very happy, that we booked the slightly more expensive rattan chairs, so we had more room and less flashes around us.

The show is advertised everywhere. I would say its ok to go, but do not expect too much. the scenery is nice, its a show with lots of people (actors) and that's its. I have been to the shows in Hangzhou and Wuhishan, and they were for sure more impressive. Snajie Liu, you go, have seen it - ok. One time ok, but not a second time. Fair to say, the price is not as high than other shows, but for that the impact or experience is also not that great.
