Amazing show and tequila tasting experience. One of the best excursions I’ve done. Be sure to be wow-ed!

David, the Tequila Sommelier, or Catador, is the only certified expert of his kind in Puerto Vallarta and he was a wealth of information. We were greeted with a delicious cocktail made by the mixologist, Martin. Before the full tasting, the tour takes you through an interactive and realistic display, including 3D art, that educates you on the mythological origin story of Agave, its present day history, and finally the processes used to make it through the years, across the world. We felt as though they shared a very special piece of Mexico’s culture with us and we will always remember this tour! We had many questions and David always had answers and was very accommodating. The tasting was prefaced with an experience meant to open your mind smelling many flavor notes brought out from the distillation process. The tasting room was very nice and Martin had prepared us each plates of snacks meant to compliment and enhance the tasting process. We’ve done wine tasting but this was much much more interesting and for someone who wasn’t a huge fan of tequila, I have been converted! Gratuity was not expected but appreciated. They also had a store of Tequilas available for purchase, the kinds we tasted as well as many others that they also gave us tasters of. It was a great experience, education, and awakening of your taste buds, we highly recommend!

Very informative and unique experience all centered on tequila. David and Marten were excellent hosts and tour guides. Once we left the main floor and walked upstairs, we were surprised at how much the experience changed. Lots of tastings, lots of stories and super fun experience to do with friends.

Our hosts, David and Martin, were amazing. When you come to PV, you must stop here. We have been in PV for 5 days and have seen so many amazing things, but this Tequila experience made our vacation.

Fun experience to taste a variety of tequilas and learn about the farming, harvesting and production process. Tours run in english-only and spanish-only time slots. You need the english tour with David unless you are fluent in spanish. David is great, so friendly and knowledgeable.

This experience was nice and I would’ve given it a higher rating if I hadn’t heard the same exact story the day before at another tasting. Pros: welcome drink, generous pours, small bites to pair. Overall if this is your only tasting experience I would recommend it. Remember there’s going to be education with every tasting.

This tequila tasting experience was amazing! Our guides were attentive, knowledgeable and patiently explained the history behind tequila. We learned the best way to enjoy tequilla and what to look out for when making a purchase. My family and I had a great time and the central location was perfect. Definitely take this tour.

This was a wonderful experience that opened our eyes to the complexity and beauty of tequila. From the delicious opening drink, to learning the intricacies of making tequila, to learning how to properly drink and savour each sip, David guided us through a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend!
