I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. The Class III and IV rapids were engaging fun and challenging. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, and the food was delicious I strongly recommend this company for those seeking a more challenging whitewater experience.
This is a very well-run operation. Safety and fun are prioritized. The crew, Kenneth, Jason, Alvin, and Juancito were amazing. We had a great time! Juancito paddles ahead of your raft and take beautiful pictures of your ride, at an extra cost, but worth every penny. I can’t wait to come back.
My wife and had an amazing time! The whole team was great from start to finish. Leandro was the one who lead us down the river. He was friendly, easily taught us what we needed to do, funny, intentionally splashed us with the currents and knowledgeable/acted as a tour guide as we floated down the river. I would recommend Leandro their team if you're looking to go or try rafting!

The guides are very fun! They're funny, nice and are caring. The food was great as well! One of the best tours we got yet in Costa Rica. We 100% recommend. Especially during the raining season where we got to see more waterfalls than usual and where the water was perfect.
We went with our two kids ages 16 and 15 and they had a blast! My daughter was scared, but our guide Moi was amazing with reassuring her and making safety first. His helper Jay was also amazing in going ahead of us in a kayak and ensuring we were safe. The rapids were pretty good even though the water level was low. We had a great time and would definitely do it again! The whole team was professional from the start- Jaime was our driver who picked us up at the hotel and then we took the 30 min ride to the start of the rapids. They even stop a few times down the river and let you out to swim. They also provide a snack on the water half way through and an amazing lunch at the end. Must try if you’re in Manuel Antonio!

We loved it!! Very good organization, the entire Amigos del Río team was very kind, approachable, and professional. The office staff, driver, guide, kayak safety team, and photographer made it a great experience. Our guide Leandro was super good, very beautiful tour, fun and very safe. Loads of fun on the river with hardly any gaps requiring hard paddling. Would tour with them again anytime.
