ホワイトウォーターラフティングバルサ川|アレナルからのクラスII＆III

We took our seven year old son on this trip and it was a fantastic experience. Every part of our interaction with the staff was professional, organized, safety conscious, and truly fun, Our guide, Alcides, knew the river extremely well, read and navigated the river perfectly, and kept us entertained and laughing between the rapids. On a white water trip, you expect white water and adrenaline but what you don’t expect is Costa Rican history, wildlife spotting (iguanas, frogs, and sloths), or a break for fresh fruit. Alcides even stopped the raft to carefully and quietly show us a baby sloth sleeping just three meters from us. Alcides, and the entire team, went above and beyond for us. The beautiful part about this white water rafting trip is that it was just one of many great experiences we had while in Costa Rica. The people of Costa Rica, were the best hosts, and the friendliest people I have ever encountered in the more than fifty countries I have visited.

Diego was our guide and, while he said he was a newer guide on that particular river, he was very experienced in white water rafting and we had a fun time with him. My husband enjoyed it much more than me (I was pretty scared the first half), but the calmer part was really fun to find animals along the river!

We had a blast and felt safe the entire time! I was a little anxious going with my kiddos, but our river raft guide, Romel, and Carlos, our bus guide were both AMAZING! So friendly and eager to share the beauty of Costa Rica!🙌
