午前5時頃にワラズから専用バスで出発し、カルワズ、マンコス・ランラヒルカ、ユンガイ（1970年にこの都市の大半を埋め尽くした大地震に見舞われたため、悲劇的な歴史を持つ都市）など、非常に絵になる場所を通ってワラズ北部へ向かいます。
ピックアップが終われば、カジェホン・デ・ウアイラスに向かって出発し、午前7時30分頃に立ち寄り朝食をとります。
ワスカラン国立公園に立ち寄り、入場料を支払い登録します。その後、旅を続け、リャンガヌコ渓谷を通ります。チナンコチャラグーン（ラグーンメス）とオルコンコチャ（ラグーンオス）の景色を楽しみます。
ユラッコラに到着し、約3時間かけてラグナ69（4604m）まで歩きます。 ラグーンでは、休憩と昼食を取ります。雪をかぶったチャクララジュ、ピスコ、標高6768メートルのワスカラン（ペルー最高峰）の壮大な景色を眺めます。
そこから同じ道をユラコラルに戻り、そこで車をワラズまで運びます。

This "tour" is essentially a bus ride to the hiking trail. There is a little info given before the hike. The hike is independent but the tour lead gives you goals to recheck check points by a certain time period. It can be aggressive and discouraging if you are not fast enough. Don't underestimate the challenge and the need to acclimate and be in good shape before taking this hike. Get your own food and water. There is a breakfast stop in the morning before starting the hike.
It is a wonderful hike but do not underestimate the altitude and elevation gain, some people in my group had difficulty doing it! I am satisfied with the agency, good care, we leave early and it was well coordinated. However, the guide is limited in English and gives basic instructions but the explanations in Spanish are more elaborate. For a whole day of pick-up, the value for money is very good!
