サウスダコタ州カスターの中心部にある待ち合わせ場所までご自身でお越しください。ここから、乗組員が気球を降ろして準備する作業を開始する発射場に連れて行かれます。短い安全ブリーフィングに参加し、気球が膨らんでいる間、写真撮影の機会をお楽しみください。

Obviously, weather is very unpredictable. The weather was not in our favor. We were in the basket and balloons up ready to leave. The winds shifted and our pilot made the right call. I’ve been on balloons, big and small on several continents. We were all disappointed not to go. But the pilot I want to fly with is the one that knows when NOT to go. They made the right call. Next time we’re out here we’ll definitely book with them again. These guys know what they’re doing.
10/10 recommend! The owners are wonderful and we enjoyed every single minute, from the basket set up and balloon inflation to the landing and champagne toast. We particularly loved our Pilot Russ and support crew. We'll be back another time for sure 👍🏻👍🏻
Very smooth take off and landing. Very knowledgeable pilot and crew. Started out in a field with the sun rising to give a very peaceful start to the day. Saw several deer and other domestic animals. Great view of the black hills. Could see the Crazy Horse Monument in the distance. Nice refreshments to end the experience with some history about the beginning of hot air balloons. A great start for my 70th birthday celebration.
Oh what fun it was!! Damien kept us up to the moment on weather at all times. Our first morning we went to the launch site. Clear in town, launch site was foggy. We rescheduled for the next morning. Again Damien was up to the moment with the weather. Inflating the balloon was fun to watch! Lift off was sooooo gentle. Drifting south of Custer, the views were Great! Damien was full of info regaarding the balloon, the area, the history of both! The landing was really more gentle than I expected. Champagne, cheese and crackers, muffins, toasts and the history of ballooning followed. GREAT Time!!
Once in a lifetime experience! Damien and all of the Black Hills Balloons crew are absolutely phenomenal. We’ve been twice and will definitely return for a third time in the future. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation!
We took a hot air balloon ride this past weekend. It was incredible. The air was a little chilly, but the weather was perfect for flying. The heat from the balloon kept you perfect. The skies were calm, and the entire experience felt peaceful and tranquil. The view was beautiful, but what stood out most was a feeling of quietly floating through the air. It was one of those experience that is difficult to capture on video. I barely took any because I wanted to be fully present and enjoy every moment if you were considering a hot air balloon ride, do it Damien made it absolutely worth it and I highly recommend it.
Amazing experience! Beautiful views and Damien was more than we could ask for in a pilot! He was very knowledgeable, experienced, made everyone comfortable and gave everyone a good laugh.
What an amazing experience!! We went on June 14 with Damien and his crew. It was a cold, but clear morning. From the meeting point, we went to the landing place. It is the complete experience, from making the balloon ready for take off till coming back at the meeting point. The lift of is so smooth, you float into the air. The landing was smooth as well and there was champagne, nice snacks and a certificate. Super well arranged and a memory for life!! Thanks Damien and the whole crew Cees and Marisca (The Dutchies 😁)
This attraction is totally dependent on the weather conditions. We were unable to participate due to strong winds. However we very much appreciate the safety concerns and not taking any chances
Black Hills Balloon put on an amazing performance of spectacular art and technical skill. Damien and his crew helped fulfill a ‘bucket list’ experience for my wife and me. I have been fortunate in coming to the Hills since 1968. The Black Hills has always been an enchanting place for me. From the glittering, mineral-rich, rock formations to the majestic wildlife, Black Hills Balloon was able to showcase the breathtaking beauty of the Hills through the first-light glimpses of a sunrise. Damien and his crew made us feel safe and secure as they worked seamlessly from setup to touchdown. His, Irish-accented, storytelling and narration was informative and humorous. We can’t wait until our next flight. Thank you to Black Hills Balloon for an amazing experience!
