If you only have one day to get out of Baku and see as much of the surrounding nature as possible, I definitely recommend this tour! Just be prepared for a full 12-hour day, we left around 7 AM and got back around 7 PM. There is quite a lot of time spent on the bus, but the scenery along the way is so beautiful that it honestly doesn’t feel like the time is dragging. The tour is really designed to let you see a lot in a single day, from the Candy Cane Mountains to Khinaliq and the surrounding landscapes. The homemade lunch in Khinaliq was really good and the setting was cozy and welcoming. Ley was also lovely and made the experience even better! One thing to keep in mind, this isn’t really a historical or cultural tour. I’d describe it more as a nature-hopping / sightseeing tour that takes you to several different landscapes and places in one day. Overall, definitely worth it if you only have one day and want to see as much of the incredible nature around Baku as possible!

I learned more and enjoyed the Spanish couple on the trip more than about Azerbaijan. The guide, Ilkin, lacked energy, seemed bored, and I learned very little. With the exception of the candy cane mountain, Eagle Top viewpoint, and some of food during lunch, everything else was not worth it. The "forest" was just the worst part. It was just trees by a restaurant. The guide told us there was a hike. There is no hike. Spent too much time on things that were not explained. I won't recommend this.

The trip itself and our guide, Leyla, were top-notch. I would have gladly given 5 stars, but we had originally booked a tour in Russian; the day before the excursion, we were told it would be in English, and no solution to the situation was offered.

It was a bad experience due to the driver. Spent the whole trip on the phone (including video calls!), stopped twice on the way to take care of personal matters, made dangerous overtakes, and exceeded the speed limit several times. It was not a good experience.

This is a full day experience that takes you up into the mountains, to a living remote mountain village. I learned about this trip from another traveller and specifically travelled to Baku to join the day tour. I was not disappointed . If you enjoy being in the mountains then this is the trip for you . The road trip through the mountains is spectacular and the village is like a step back in time . There is nothing touristy about it!

This trip exceeded our expectations - the candy mountain, Quba and Khinaliq were absolutely beautiful. The lunch at the family house at Khinaliq was good, and the explanations about the local ethnic group was very interesting. The walk along the village, the mosque, the friendly people and the mesmerizing mountains view was superb. Leyla was a good guise, nice comprehensive explanations was conducted with a very good English and with a permanent smile on her face. She knew the best location for photos and sight seeing. The trip overall was very organized. Note, that like all trips of this kind, you don't get to walk a lot. Because of the big distances between locations you spend our time mostly on the bus. And yet, we enjoyed the tour so much. Highly recommended.

The drive up to Khinaliq Village was breathtakingly beautiful and the traditional lunch was beyond my expectation a delicious. The journey through the canyon was amazing.

The guide was truly wonderful, gentle, passionate, and generous in her kind explanations. And the tour was magnificent. Leyla is very gentle and puts us at ease; it was incredible ❤️❤️❤️🙏

This was a great tour but be prepared for a very long day, it was over 12 hours and I would have given it a five star rating, but the tour leader dropped it down to a four star when she played loud techno music for the last hour on the way back to Baku. It was so loud I had to plug my ears, and I am not hard of hearing. Somebody that’s in the hospitality industry should have a little more common sense when you have 16 people in a van and playing loud extra loud music I like music, but not this loud in that techno stuff was too much base.
