統一会堂は、1963 年に亡くなるまで、ベトナムのゴ ディン ジエム将軍の基地でした。1975 年には、世界史に名を残しました。北ベトナム軍の戦車が正門を突き破り、ベトナム戦争が終結しました。今日、ホーチミン市の観光客にとって必見の場所です。 宮殿は、1975 年に凍結されたタイム カプセルのようなものです。敷地内に駐車された、宮殿の占領に使用された 2 つの元の戦車を見ることができます。統一会堂は、コーチン中国のフランス総督の住居兼職場でした。緑豊かな庭園、秘密の部屋、アンティーク家具、コマンド バンカーがあります。 APEC 首脳会議など、ホーチミンで重要な行事を開催するために今でも使用されています。

Lauren met us at our hotel at the time stated. The car had great air conditioning and our driver Tan was wonderful with added little touches such as wet wipes and sweets. Lauren was a superb guide and a fountain of knowledge for such a young man. Our tour started in Chinatown which included a visit to a temple where we were able to participate in a cultural experience, burning our own incense. We then visited the Reunification Palace where again Lauren had the answers to all the questions we asked. We had an early lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant which was delicious, even the hot soup on a very hot day. We then went on to the War Remnants Museum which was totally harrowing but shows the resilience of the Vietnamese people, rebuilding their cities and lives after the horrors of the war. This vividly shows the true horror of the Vietnam war. Lauren let us go around the museum without him which was fine as I cried like a baby. We then went to the post office with its fabulous architecture, where for a small fee we were able to send a postcard home. I’m sure we will arrive home before the postcard. We saw Notre Dame Cathedral before heading to Ben Thanh market where you can buy a Gucci handbag next to a stall selling fruit. Overall a fabulous day tour with an excellent guide. Request Lauren as your tour guide. He is a wonderful young man who was attentive throughout the whole tour.
Laren was a great tour guide! He showed us many great spots in Vietnam and brought us to a great restaurant for lunch! It was great for a family. The full day was a great amount of time to see some of Ho Chi Minh's greatest sights!

The entire day was extremely well organized, with comfortable transportation and a pace that allowed us to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Laren was an excellent guide. He was responsive, punctual, engaging, and accommodating to our group which included two seniors and a toddler. He always made sure that all our questions were answered and enough time was spent on each location. We left Ho Chi Minh city with a very good impression thanks in part to this tour. My toddler still references Laren, three weeks after this tour.
We had a fantastic day with Laren touring HCMC! My family of five booked the private tour seeing all the sites in HCMC. Laren was very informative and friendly.
