Meeting directions, Shinkansen (bullet train) and bus travel were all superb thanks to the friendly and informative guides. The day was packed but not rushed. Great stop for lunch. Personally I would have preferred another 30-90 minutes more in the peace memorial museum for time the time on Miyujima island, but the other food recommendations there were awesome.
Our guide was friendly and polite, however we felt her walking pace was too fast especially in the rainy weather so we gave up on visiting the shrine in Miyajima Island. The shopping street in Miyajima Island was not very interesting as most food stalls sell almost the same things and were expensive.
The tour was lovely and very organised. Azusa was an amazing guide. The only improvement would be to have an extra 30 minutes at the Hiroshima memorial museum. We did not have the best weather so it would have been especially good to have a bit more time at Hiroshima as Miyajima is not as enjoyable when it is raining heavily, although that is no one’s fault. Would definitely recommend!
Azusa was a fantastic tour guide for our Hiroshima and Miyajima tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and the interaction throughout was outstanding. Azusa was also very funny and kept our group entertained the entire time. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima!
Mrs. Azusa was an excellent guide. She explained every single details in the tour and answered all our questions very politely. I walked all the places with us and explained the details about every single point we see. I had been on 3 tours so far and she is best guide I met here in Japan. Happy guide Hiro. The Peace museum and memorials very moving. The weather really overshadowed the trip tp Miyajima - got drenched even with an umbrella. Recommend the provision of umbrellas for wet day tours.
