Yama knows a lot about the castle and it’s history. He has a very pleasant way to tell us about the the samoerai and use of the castle. And the hidden traps an funny details and story s. Thank you Yama, we had a great time. 👋🏻

Our guide was very polite and accomodating to our wishes. Unfortunately, her knowledge or ability to impart it were very limited. Hard to understand her English.

Our guide, Suzu, was personable, accommodating, and patient. She has a good command of English and a broad knowledge of the Himeji Castle. She was concerned with our safety and interests. She encouraged us at the end to visit one more place which was a special camera spot. We were weary and and were reluctant to go because it was uphill again but we agreed when we saw it was not too far or to steep. It turns out it was a wonderful place for a photo and one of our favorites of our whole trip. She certainly knows the vantage points. Our tour ended up being two and a half hours! She has our recommendation.
