チカバル湖の神秘と雄大さ、マヤ文明の村での生活を体験してください。 活動していないチカバル火山の中に形成されたこの火口湖は、この地域のマム・マヤ族によって神聖視されており、雲霧林に囲まれているため、文化的、精神的意義のある場所となっている。 ケツァルテナンゴ地域で最も訪問者の多い観光地である。 600段のカルデラを下り、湖の周囲を探索します。途中、20のマヤの「ナガル」について学びます。 ハイキングの後は、村見学で地元の文化に触れたり、マヤの家庭を見学したり、機織りの実演から学んだり。 この没入型の体験は、グアテマラ高地西部の中央で自然や文化とつながりたい家族や個人に最適です。 活動費の80％は、地域の家族やコミュニティが健康で、教育を受け、自立できるよう支援する「ローカルホープ/ゼラエイド」のプログラムやクリニックを支援しています。

集合場所と時間
ケツァルテナンゴ（村から約1時間）からは、追加料金でセントラルパークまで送迎をしてもらうオプションも選べます。 朝7時にピックアップ。 1日の終わりにケツァルテナンゴにお返しします。 チェックアウト時に「ケツァルテナンゴでのピックアップ付き」オプションを選択してください。 バンは5人乗り。 ご質問があればご連絡ください。

From the start, their team communicated with me before the tour, to address any concerns on my part. They were very friendly, well mannered, and hard working individuals. I learned so much from Xela Aid, the community, the needs and education that deeply Guatemala struggles with. It was an eye opening experience that gave me a glimpse of life, for those who have struggled to get where they are. I enjoyed every part of the tour, while simply eating breakfast at the table, to all the help the organization does for others. I defiantly would recommend for others to try this experience, and tour.
